Warhead no 64-bit?
I purchased warhead this afternoon and I am playing singleplayer. I wanted to see my FPS and did the r_displayinfo=1 thing and noticed that I was running DX10 32-bit. SO I went to the program files/warhad folder and noticed that there is no bin 64 folder. So I am wondering if its a bad install or something or is warhead really 32-bit only?

RE: Warhead no 64-bit?
32 Bit only, I just finished installing my copy.
This makes me wonder why since Crytek talk so much about 64 Bit about Crysis and now they dump 64 Bit with Warhead/Wars.

RE: Warhead no 64-bit?
Probably because Punkbuster does not support 64bit.

Well, better this way. Quite annoying having in crysis the 64bit binaries but having to play in non-punkbuster servers because of the lack of support for 64bits platforms
Nice move!

It sucks that the effort here is coming from you guys rather than Punkbuster, but I guess that's one way to solve the problem...
Actually, it sucks more that the most technologically advanced game [series] to date just dropped 64-bit support. Hopefully this won't stop other studios from adopting it.

Don't you think Crytek had to inform us earlier? And what about the rumors regarding the copy-protection? If it is Securom with 3 installs, like Bioshock or Spore, I will install a copy from some pirate-site. I preordered it already by Amazon, so Crytek will get their money from me, but I will give it a 1-Star rating on Amazon, because of the copy-protection.
BTW; I f****g h**e Sony

Loving and buying the game and giving it a 1 star rating makes no sense. The review option there is to review the game not the installer.

The installer is part of the game. Or do you just copy the content of the DVD to your HDD and play?? And the latest EA Game, Spore, has the same crap of Digital Restriction Management! After some harsh criticism, EA gave word to slackening the copy protection. What if EA goes bankrupt? We have exactly the same case some weeks ago with 10tacle. No GTR, no GTL and no GTR2 lobby servers for a few days. Then the developer kicked in and pays the servers, foe now. They have no written agreement, just spoken words. What if EA goes bankrupt in 2 years, and I, or you, wanna play Crysis - Warhead half a year later? It's not possible, because we cant authenticate with the f*****g DRM-server. That's the point. Just think about it. Therefore I buy the game, to pay my respect to Crytek. But I will install a "downloaded" copy of it.

Have a look at this.
Sony has brought us some cool things like the walkman, rootkits on CDs and Securom. I hope you understand why I hate Sony

I don't know :
What does seem apparent is that a number of "fixes" were simply previous features that were dropped. Any of the ones we start asking for are being promised in the hazy future like a lot of Crysis concerns.
I've been playing warhead for a few hours, and I'm glad I bought it...but come on

Will 64-bit be released in an update? and if so, will it automatically download?

Cry-Alex said more info will be released soon, that means... they will tell you when they are ready to tell you.
Asking the same question 20x doesn't get them to tell you any faster.
Patience!
