    We’re pleased to announce that today we are releasing the Crysis 2 Mod SDK package which includes the all-new Sandbox 3 Editor, allowing you to create custom maps, mods and content for Crysis 2!

     

    The package also includes various tools, such as FMOD Designer, Poly Bump, plugins for Maya and 3ds Max and more! We’ve also included some sample assets to help you discover the possibilities with the Crysis 2 Mod SDK package.

     

    Running alongside the release of the Crysis 2 Mod SDK package, we’re also pleased to release the all-new Crymod website, a place for modders of all skill levels to join in, share and be part of our community.

     

    Note: You need a 64-bit operating system for this package.

    Here you can grab the files for the Community Dedicated Server package. This package allows you to host your own unranked Crysis 2 server as well as custom maps/mods! This package also includes documentation on the setup and running of the server.

     

    To install, just extract the .zip file contents to your root Crysis 2 directory. For further information, please consult the .pdf file in the Support directory.

  • Where can I find fixes to my Crysis 2 issues?

  • How can I change my MyCrysis username? (Console Users)

    There is a known issue with some console accounts that is causing usernames to appear as a series of numbers.  To combat this we have given console users the functionality to change their usernames through the MyCrysis UCP located here: http://www.mycrysis.com/forums/ucp.php

  • Crysis Wars patch 1.5 RAW Files

    These are the raw files of patch 5 for Crysis Wars and should help every server provider to update to the latest version of Crysis Wars easily without using the installer or the auto update functionality. Included are also the latest Punkbuster files and configurations.

  • Crysis Hotfix 1.21

    This hotfix corrects the known security hole in the game code causing client and server crashes.

  • Crysis Wars Patch 1.5

    This patch fully updates Crysis Wars to it's latest version. You will not be required to install any other patches other than this one.

  • Crysis ® Patch 1.2

    This patch tunes and improves Crysis. It includes all fixes from patch 1.1. Crysis Hotfix 1.21 should be applied after installing patch 1.2.

  • Crysis Warhead ® Patch 1.1

    This patch includes the original and has a hotfix for several minor issues including changing the resolution in Windows Vista.

    Yes, Crysis 2 will support full stereoscopic 3D on all platforms.

  • Will Crysis 2 have a multiplayer?

    Yes!  The Crytek UK studio is working exclusively on Crysis 2 multiplayer, we're taking it very seriously and want to ensure we offer an extremely entertaining and rewarding multiplayer experience.

  • Can I order Nano Edition in my country?

    Crysis 2 Nano Edition is not available to order in all countries, but with that said more and more retailers are now supporting the pre-order of it.  Check back on Crysis.ea.com to see if it's available where you are!

  • Can I pre-order Crysis 2?

    Yes, you can pre-order now from Crysis.ea.com.  If you are quick enough you will be entitled to the Limited Edition which gives you a bunch of in-game extas absolutely free!  You can also pre-order Nano Edition from selected stores, with more becoming available soon!

  • What platform will Crysis 2 be available on?

    Crysis 2 will be available on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

  • When will Crysis 2 be released?

    Crysis 2 will be released on March 22nd 2011 in North America and March 25th 2011 in Europe and the rest of the world.

  • What is Crysis 2 about?

    The world has been ravaged by a series of climatic disasters and society is on the verge of total breakdown.  Now the aliens have returned, with a full invasion force bent on nothing less than the total annihilation of mankind, starting by trying to rip the heart out of Earth’s most iconic city: New York.
     
    Just to survive will require technology beyond anything any modern soldier has ever seen.
