MyCrysis 3v3 PowerStruggle Tournament!
Introduction
Following on from the success of the first tournament, we are very pleased to announce that MyCrysis has joined up with Multiplay once more and will be hosting a second event, this time around though the format will be a little different.
This event will be a 3vs3 PowerStruggle tournament. There will be no groups, it will be a playoff knockout format. As always the winning team can expect to earn themselves Crysis Wars fame and glory in addition to the various prizes we will be offering up.
The format
The format for this tournament will be 3vs3 in Power Struggle mode. You can select your own teams but make sure you find reliable teammates because substitutes cannot be used.
The competition will be run through a playoff, teams will be seeded randomly and will play through the knockout bracket until we have a winner. There will be no loser bracket, this is a one chance, do or die event.
How to sign up
The sign up process will be extremely similar to our last event. On Monday 13/07/09 we will open a forum thread where you will be able to register. More details about this process including direct links will be released on the day in the forum and via a news post.
The event is not scheduled to begin until 15/08/09 and we will be keeping sign ups open for two weeks. This will give all teams ample time to register, set the dates aside, get some practice in and come up with a truly awesome team name.
Prizes
The prizes will be announced nearer the time but you can expect all of the usual Crysis merchandise in addition to some other great prizes for the top finishers.
Rules
The rules of this tournament will be announced nearer the time but they will be based off the standard ESL rules which can be found here.
Additional Information
We understand there are a lot of community members from outside of Europe that would like to participate and were unable to do so in our last event. We have not yet confirmed or denied any ping restrictions, or the possibility of servers being hosted in USA and/or Australia. This will depend a lot upon future discussion and sign ups, we will announce something officially nearer the commencement of the tournament.
The tournament will be a knockout event without a loser bracket. This will be hosted over a weekend. The games will either be best of 1 or best of 3 depending on the sign ups and time constraints. Again, this will be officially announced nearer the time.

does it sound fair that the same guys from last tourney finish at top of this one too ?
I feel frustration already.
isn't it enough that we get a skill disadvantage also a hardware disadvantage and the player who already has a bang machine win the hardware that many other players really and truly need it !! ?
damn!.
I guess I'll have to enjoy the opportunity and learn to be a little harder target
