Dedicated Servers For PC Announced

PC Gamers rejoice! Crytek and EA are pleased to announce Dedicated Servers for the PC version of Crysis 2! Please share with us your thoughts in the comments section below!

We know that we have a lot of enthusiastic PC fans out there and we think it’s awesome! A great community is something that every gaming company strives for. We also know how much our PC gamers love dedicated servers, and we’re pleased to announce that Crysis 2 will support them! Below you will find our server provider partners who, between them, will be offering global hosting:

    PRAISE YOU BOTH EA and CRYTEK!!! Seriously THANK YOU THANK-YOU THANK-YOU for listening to us PC gamers! Thank-you for not going the way of Activision and selling out the PC multiplayer community the way they did with the Call of Duty franchises. VAC just can't keep up with the hackers. Dedicated servers with Punk-Buster(?) rules!

    You dont see many hacks on the 360. An when you do its nothing extreme like pc lol
    BUT - Hacks are part of pc culture, and that's why we like using them - custom anti cheats- low gravity - ect.

    Dedicated servers are good. But will the anti-cheat support 64-bit? punkbuster didn't, so there where some servers that couldn't be joined on a 64-bit PC. :(

    How are you going to stop all the freakin cheats that play now and will play later? The game sucks with all the hacks.

    umm, anti cheats? hackers where VERY rare on anti cheat servers for crysis wars and where kicked in minutes even on servers with no punkbuster. So its not a problem really.
