Crysis 2 Map Focus - Sanctuary

Welcome to this edition of the Crysis 2 Map Focus, featuring Sanctuary

Sanctuary is centered around an old, historic church while the surrounding areas will see you traversing along ruined streets, hiding in thick garden areas and moving your way through underground service tunnels.

Sanctuary Description

Trinity Church takes centre stage as the battle rages around and beneath it. Take cover behind tombstones or lurk stealthily in the catacombs and passageways and ambush your unsuspecting prey. Using the SCAR will allow you to compete effectively no matter what tactics your opponents employ.  Try it in Extraction whilst using attachments to customise it to your own style.

Below is a tactical overview of Sanctuary, here you can see all levels of the map, entry and exit points, and plan out strategies or identify key tactical points.

    One of my favourite maps along with Downed Bird, City Hall and Skyline. Wall Street is, in my opinion, the worst map...too big by far. What do you guys think?
    what are you kidding me wall street is by far the greatest map by far!

    THE Game has major problem that when i play it on Extreme Graphic settings ..Its really hard to see cloakers But when i play it on very high setting I can easily see cloacker as there is not much Dust,smoke or Fog to Confuze u ;)

    Sanctuary is among the best maps for Crysis 2. City Hall, Sanctuary, and Skyline make are tailored to the nanosuit strategies. Evac ZOne and Statue are more running, and Downed Bird / Lighthouse are far too big. As for Terminal & Impact, they are probably the worst yet most voted for maps in the game. All the noobs love them because everyone gets a lot of kills on them. Impact is one bib spawn point, and terminal is like the Daytona 500. With stealth & armor, sanctuary skyline & city hall are just the right size w/ just the right cover. Beautifully designed levels.

    AGJ. 250ish overall in kills. 1000ish overall in XP. yea that means 750 people are cheating.

    City Hall, Sanctuary, Wall Street, Skyline and Terminal are the best maps

    I disagree with you completely, LOL. Only a few of those maps actually get voted for. And btw, where's Impact on your list?
