MENU POINTS
Installation
With the newAuto Patching introduced with Crysis Wars the installation of a new patch iseasier then it was before in the Crysis franchise. You are just one step awayfrom the new patch. So choose your operating system and follow the step belowto update your game to a newer version. If you encounter problems during theinstallation process please visit our official forums.
- Auto Update - Windows XP: Open the Start menu and click on "Programs -> EA -> Crysis Wars -> Check for game updates".
- Auto Update - Windows Vista: Open the game browser and right click on Crysis Wars. Then click on "check for updates".
- Manual Update: In the case you want to install the patch manually you can download the setup file from here and execute it to update Crysis Wars.
- STEAM Update: Crysis Wars will automatically update to the latest version via STEAM.
Patch 1.5 Content
General Fixes:
- When spectating, buy menu won't switch tabs
- Occasional HUD buttons displacement
- Shoot + Zoom exploit with Sniper Rifle
- Potential renderer crash
- Score limit is correctly calculated in PowerStruggle
- Vehicle damage direction display
- Server crash when using last purchase to repeatedly buy vehicles
Updates andimprovements:
- Added health bar of player who just killed you
- Added automatic respawning in Instant Action/Team Instant Action, defaults to 20s after death
- Added new visual hit indicator asset - shows whether you hit a player or a vehicle
- Various messages for accessibility improvement
- Reworked options menu
Balance:
- Increased melee damage, and improved its consistency
New Map
In this patchwe will also be introuducing our new map Ruins. Ruins is set in achurch ruins environment where players are able to do combat bothinside and outside the ruins. More information will be released in thefuture but for now we have four new screenshots available for you.
