Agreed. Most people will confuse the Beta as a demo (Although some know what a beta is, and what a demo is). I think as long as Crytek choose the right people, then that's what matters. Have fun and enjoy the Beta, but do your part and contribute. After all, anyone who does get into the Beta is helping Crytek fix the game for bugs/glitches. :)

Or helping Crytek by discovering that the game is fun and then buying it when it's released ;)

And Crytek doesn't seem to like demos anyway:

That's true.

I'm not fussed on how Crytek approach the Beta, as long as the people who participate help Crytek find the bugs/glitches, they can also have fun!

Its cool, I just think people need to stop making threads about the beta, asking when its going to be released, or like this one stating the obvious(what a beta is).
Like I said before, the good folks here at mycrysis.com will let you know when its time :)

But just to be clear, this post cant be such an obviouse point if even BlackOp8XI is tired of people makin posts demanding beta, in point of fact its the opposite of all those threads BlackOp8XI refers to, and cant be by logic, The same ol s**t

I simply thought it might help to slow those posts down a bit if those people got some insight, I didnt expect BlackOp8XI would have a prob with that, who knew,?

@ BlackOp8XI, i have spent the ( Beta )part of most days running the MoH Beta, and have only been in two three times a day for last three weeks, as for me knowing about this game, this isnt a competition on how well I know the game, it doesnt even matter one iota.

I am a fan like most others here, and played it from the outset first release, and completey enjoy its flexibilty, and its continued following, Seems you find that offensive, I think I was very clear in saying, I am not so concerened about having the Beta, just getting the hard copy on my shelf asp.

So please laugh anyway, I am not concerened about anyones post count least of all mine, as long as I get the game then we can all be happy, unless my having Crysis 2 is also a problem to you :D

Guss600, by these guidelines, we are safe to assume that Crysis/Wars are BETA games.

I wonder how many Betas they are actually giving out though. It will certainly be interesting to see.

Crytek mentioned waves of beta.

Of course, none of us know exactly when the Beta starts. I can assume they'll be quite a few.

A thread worth remembering, the real limitations of Beta/Demo. :)
