I would really like to see the option to disable shadows completely! When I managed to disable shadows in Crysis 2 I got a huge FPS boost! I guess my graphics card just isn't very good at shadows!

Sorry, but no. Well, in single player maybe. But in multiplayer it would be borderline cheating

Settings should make an actual difference too. In Crysis 1 the difference between low and medium, medium and high, and high and very high made a really big impact both performance and quality wise, but in Crysis 2 they were almost the same unless you look at some little details.

These pics were taken by me, comparing Very High (Medium) and Ultra settings.With ultra there's a little quality difference, but a huge FPS drop.

Well in Crysis 2, yeah, there wasn't much difference visual-wise, but the performance difference is easily noticeable. If you can drastically improve performance while sacrificing little visual quality, that's always a good thing
