Hey guys! In this YT video, I give my opinions on what I think C3 should have to make it fun and competitive. I also pursue more of a goofy/simplistic editing style. Tell me what you think!

DUUUUUUUUUUUDE.

Spot on. I really wish you were designing Crysis 3. :D

Per weapon balance... fixing the scar+laser bug is a no brainer. I'm pretty sure there will be a whole troop down to murder. :P I think the balance of the other weapons is pretty decent right now, with the exception of the FY. The L-tag is an awesome fun weapon, but spammers have ruined it for everyone. Also, more options for unlocking weapons would be nice. Grinding is stupid. Especially after five reboots. -__-

I personally would like to see some more RPG features. NS customization, as you mentioned. But modules should also interact and have bonuses/downfalls (like you mentioned for SE/ME, or Armor enhance III improving reload time with Weapon pro). And I definitely agree on having multiple combos on modules. I love your ideas there.

Also, more custom class slots. Maybe have it so that you unlock them with hours of gameplay. Reward the players who give their all.

Rebooting. It's cute. Like CoD. But seriously, loosing all your perks, weapon unlocks (which you have to grind for), and weapon stats (ie, SCAR Kills) is just stupid. ESPECIALLY if you got autorebooted like... oh, i dunno. Most of the community?

I know i'm ranting, but lol... it would be fun.

So this is an idea that I have been thinking about for a bit, I personally think it gets away from the idea of having customization to the suit, but it would be an interesting way to mix it up.

Rather than having us pick 3 modules in 3 categories, we get to pick one suit.

What I mean by this is that there are different models of nanosuits (preferably with different designs for each) with not only set modules but other features such as different energy capacity, different energy usage rates for stealth, armor, sprinting, etc. Different amounts of health, different speed, different reload speed, different ammo capacity, etc.

It would bring a new level of strategy into the game (much like having different classes in TF2) and would allow people to identify suit abilities from a distance.

Just take the Crysis Wars gameplay and add Crysis 2 game modes and stuff into it, plus some ledge grabbing and air stomps, then it will be perfect.

Very nice ideas, I hope the devs will listen to some of it at least. For the other hand, I agree somewhere with M4dn3ss. I haven't played that much with CW, around 150 hours, but the PS mode was friggin' awesome. I think it would raise the competetive gameplay to a whole new level with one or more complex modes. Have differently scaled maps each fitted for one or more modes. I mean C2 didn't come up with anything new in terms of game modes, but in CW, PS was a really new stuff and the game itself had more of a liftetime on both competetive, public and ofc on overall. People still playing it and has never moved or wanted to move to C2.
As for overall, I think C3 can't be as bad as C2 was, I think it can't get worse.
utagawa: lol, I mean really? Fov is a cheat? I think in every multiplayer games users change it. If you think it's an advantage, then use it too.

We need more recoil in all weapons.DSG reflex plus rapid fire equals assault rifle. But with zero recoil. We need bf3 type recoil in guns. That what separates men from boys. But that will never happen. We will still have gun with no recoil shooting laser beam.

If that were true, then the only men in video games are the people playing DICE titles. The recoil in those games is a little over the top. Of course they say it's realistic, but I don't care much for it. I like CS:Source recoil management. Somewhere in between C2 and BF.
