I have Crysis 1 on disc from the maximum edition that I got new a few months ago, and he JUST downloaded it from Steam and when we try to play a match it says Version Mismatch and won't let us join. Does anyone know how to fix this?
He has v1.1.1.6156 and I have v1.1.1.5767

How do I get my Crysis to the latest version so we can both play together?

Ok, I found the patch 1.2.1 with v1.1.1.6156 but I have no idea where to put the file or how to install it.
When I click the patch it gives me an error saying:
"Windows Installer does not permit patching of managed advertised products. At least one feature of the product must be installed before applying the patch"
