 Post subject: Extremely odd issue with Crysis 2 and texture pop in...

If my weapon model covers any type of object or part of the environment, the textures disappear, then reappear as I move my gun away revealing whatever I was covering.

The especially strange part, is the fact that this does not occur when I am cloaked. If I am cloaked the textures don't flicker or reload AT ALL. What the hell. At this point I can't see it being anything other than a game glitch.

I am using patch 1.9, DX11, and High Res Textures. Has anyone else ever experienced this?

Edit: Apparently DX11 is what is causing this. I disabled it and I no longer have the issue...

I would really like some replies to know if this is a known DX11 glitch or not. I've done everything to try and fix this but nothing has worked. I'm contemplating reinstalling Windows 7 in order to reinstall Direct X if it is a problem with my DX11.

I had this is with campaign only i immediately came to the solution myself all u need to do is start a new campaign because applying the patch mid stream causes this.
