Bought the game played it stats got reset to 0 ? so i had to start again played got over it til BF3 . Now recently wanted to play again said activation code has exceeded its limited wow what a waste of money?HOW THE FUK CAN IT EXCEED THE LIMIT.3 i bought the DLC only to know hey they took my money and ran now i cant install it again , 4 they quick to make this next **** game insteada fixing a good one like crysis 2 still . but no we never got past the 1.9 patch , 5 if there is no anti cheat on crysis 3 i will not buy it either , 6 change the votekick system as its quite fuken annoying when every lil noob wants to kick you

Guhhhh I dont know if your defending the game or not, but your 4th point TSAudrey made me rage! So I'm going to pull a chair here and give you my piece:



I will only snipe out number 4 because bugs are the remainder of problems that plauge C2. My own defintion of game breaking is a bug that can physicall crash a server or client. While I agree that there are only a handful left of problems that do this, there is a staggering number of game affecting bugs that still plauge the game.

1. When you empty and entire clip of primary fire as it starts to reload, if you attempt to switch to secondary it will go through the reload animation.

2. Numerous animation erros and client side prediction problems. People can warp around often when jumping up ledges or when colliding with map props.

3. Scar-Laser exploit left in the game >:((((((((((((((((((((

4. Gauss reddot will bug out and the dot can vanish from view. This is often correct by fiddling with the weapon switching off and on target.

5. Reload problems and general First person view animation bugs, and things relating to how your gun is controlled. I have held a DSG rifle as a Nova pistol, with the hud telling me that I have a Nova drawn.

6. Orbital strike lag, and voulmentric effect problems. Low fps sever lagouts are usually caused from the Volumetric effects that were introducted with 1.9


The reason this game fell apart and came out in the shoddy condition was most likely the result of poor play testing. A good beta test crew should have found most of the problems that remain in the game. From that short list it might only take 40 hours to fix all of those. The only way C3 will be good is if they fire the last batch of testers and actually use some competent bug hunters. QA was more then likely lacking or non-existent seeing the remainder of game affecting bugs. Along with the rather vanilla types of weapons that could have been diversified with feedback relating to the weapon stats.

Those are my reasons for not purchasing C3, as well as pointing out the flaws of Crysis 2. In all I didn't hate my time spent, and it's still enjoyable to frag-rape from time to time. The grand idea of C2 could have been much better and I only hope C3 will take all the failures of this game and correct them. When C3 comes oud. /END RANT

I will buy C3 when Crytek will release a patch for C2 with fixes for every major bug, hoping in a working anticheat for C3.

and in those 40 hours it would take to fix C2 you can include a few problems that should be simple to fix:
Auto-balance
Lobby Hang ups

Then there are those little things that are just the way it's suppose to be like chat text should not be the same color for everyone. Your team chat should be one color and the enemies should be a different color.
And the browser: A favorite should be a favorite regardless of how you set your filters for the main browser.

But the biggest issue I have with this game is they way they abandoned it. I think if you look back, you'll find hundreds of threads on how they abandoned this game and never looked back. If we don't let them know we still remember these things, they'll just do it again.

This is why I am going to wait and see what Crytek does before even thinking of buying Crysis 3. Sure, I had a lot of fun in Crysis 2, more than in any other FPS, but I don't want to get abandoned, again. Ditch us once Crytek, shame on you, but if we come back expecting anything different, well, we should have seen it coming.

And if it was EA who abandoned us behind the scenes then let's just hope there aren't any big bugs like orbital lag after about 3 months, or whenever BC3 is released.

I won't buy it because:

- The anticheater is very weak
- They abandoned the game
- The community support is bad and breaking bugs not fixed (the worst is the orbital lag)
- What I've seen of the latest C3 gameplay footage, the game looks the same basically.

C2 was my last Crytek's game.

Thank you bitey, it seems we both have issue #1. Everytime I run out of ammo, I quickly switch to secondary weapon, I must wait for the fast-forward reload animation.
