this is a topic mainly for server owners discussing how to improve the crysis 2 servers for crysis 3. Many of has had alot of trouble altering settings and fighting bug/cheat users so...
~ We want to feel mighty crytek! ~
Give us commands/methods to influence the matches on our servers much more. Would be nice to have a tool inluding a gui and a command line. Some things I want to see in an upcoming admin tool: Code:
- the possibillity to look into the matches via the admin tool (score, mode, kills etc.)
- force/ban specific weapons AND attachments
- move players/squads into teams
- send messages to the ingame chat
- an option to enable disable a real spectator mode
- send cheater logs directly to crytek including all relevant information
- edit the map rotation on the fly (while the server is running)
- unranked lan servers
- make rules for ranked custom servers
- improve the anti cheat (punkbuster?) and better server logs
- Auto-downloader for maps
- programmable personalised user messages
- server user ranking systems
- server event countdowns
feel free to add your ideas!

Banning a certain weapon is actually against EA server rules. Why would they let you have the command to do it?

A salution like on my bf3 server would be enough ;) and it is EA too... personally I dont see a problem there.

I believe there will be an other External Admin Interface from ESL/Crytek admins.

I want full server customisation, although on Crysis Wars I prefered the un-modded servers I still think the choice should be there to have modded servers, increased speed, disabled nanovision/cloak/ auto spawn with a particular weapon.
I also want to be able to set up ranking system on servers. For example.
Your first time on a server it says:
Hey, welcome to our server!
And second time:
Welcome back!
And stuff like:
BlckNINJA6 has just made 5000 kills on this server.
Or BLABLABLA59 is a VIP server member.
Gubble15ha joined the server with 1500 kills and rank 32 for the server.
Please crytek? And random events programming as well for the servers.
Message: 30 SECOND COUNTDOWN UNTIL GAUSS PARTY.
Then eveeryone gets a gauss forced.
And spawn fireworks on the map like in Crysis Wars and stuff for fireworks party... So many missed opportunities.... -.-
So summary:
-programmable personalised user messages
-server user ranking systems
-server event countdowns
-looped message displays on server
All optional and available if admin wants it!
