Post subject: Enabling DX11 results in flickering
PostPosted: 04 18, 2012 /11:22

Recently bought Crysis 2, as I got it for cheaps, and I was hoping that any and all problems with the game would be gone.

Sadly, this does not seem to be the issue...

I installed the game, updated to 1.9, installed DX11 patch, installed High res pack. in that order.

If I turn on DX11, I will get Flickering that looks l ike this:

Is there anything I can do to sort this out?

My HUD flickers too cause i use dual GPUs (at least it did when using DisplayPort), i had to wait till i joined a server or a SP game and the flickering started then i went to advanced graphics options and changed any one of those and went back in game and the flickering was gone.

Ive been troubleshooting for about an hour before posting here though. high with DX11 and high textures, Ultra with DX11 and high textures, high textures only, etc.

Any graphics settings where DX11 was active, I got flickering. if I turn off DX11, but leave everything else on Ultra, I wont get flickering, but then I wont have DX11.

I am using two AMD radeon HD 7970's

The 7k series are still new, I suppose you need to wait for a better driver.

P.S Congrats on the 7970s, those things mine very fast so you can earn decent ammount of cash with them.
