It's been 24 years since the events of crysis 2, CELL was able to pull out the N2 within at least 3 years of the first Nanosuit (not including the prototype and the N 1.5's). The novel even mentions the existance of a Nanosuit 2.2. Surely Crynet must have made a new iteration by then, especially with the treasure trove of ceph tech laying around....

Maybe after the failure of plans for Cell, they abandoned the program of the nano-suit

Alcatraz states Nanosuit 2 is evolving during his interview
the articles make mentionof an enhanced Nanosuit so....I think it will still be the nanosuit 2 just heavily evolved and upgraded

Maybe there will be.
The way I see it, Prophet was originally supposed to be controlled by Hargreave. However, he failed, and Alcatraz was put in the nanosuit. Because of this, it is possible the wearer of the nanosuit can overcome his superiors, making them unable to control such a being. That may be why they did not create a new one.
