Is it my connection and the connection of 50% of my friends or is it extremly lagging since the double XP weekend? I noticed I very often activate Nanovision, Visor and Armor bij just running. I know my controller is nearly dead but some friends of me had it since last monday (after double XP) as well...

I have experienced similar problems a few days back, I remember one particularly glitchy game (you were in it too Bugster) where things just got really weird ... Grenades that explode only after 15 seconds, immortal opponents, guys that simply vanish when cloaking instead of the usual cloak shimmer ... and when I got killed, I just fell on my side and stayed that way for like 10 seconds or longer, just on the ground, watching what happens around, unable to move... I laughed my **s off, simply too crazy for words.

Lately, I also experience that it is a lot harder to make decent kills, this has been going on for a few days now, just as if there is nothing coming out of these damn guns, I just can't believe that it takes over 20 rounds (no missed shots!) to take out one cloacked guy, or that it takes me sometimes more than 4 direct melee hits, while even noobs can down me with one or two direct shots, no matter if I use armor enhance with a full energy bar or not... it feels seriously demoralizing.
Especially getting one shot killed by almost everyone is frustrating.
I try to blame it on lag or bad connection, but that can't explain everything

Also during some matches I can run a lot faster than usual (which feels dragging slow by the way), and then it feels good and I get a lot of kills and this is how it should always be, but it never stays that way. It's some kind of glitch or something???

Well, what a surprise, last night I played a few matches and all of a sudden I could run around at a normal speed again (meaning faster than I have been for the past few weeks/months), it felt pretty amazing. The difference in running speed between matches, (with always the same modules and loud-out) started to get really obvious after a while, although subtle enough to make one doubt about what's going on, and I have no clue of what could have caused it, I never altered my console (just changed the hard drive once for one with higher data storage capacity). This has been bothering me since my second reboot, since then things just turned bad, and stayed that way, maybe I should have never rebooted.

I have always had laggy games...I get a descent one every now and then. I must ask if this has ever happened to any of you. This normally only happens in games with certain clan members. Some guys move at a ridiculous speed and often when I get close to them My Gun WILL NOT FIRE?!?!?! It is if my R1 button fails.. VERY STRANGE. The full invisibility thing really gets me going and the funny thing is..its only certain players in the game. No I ask you...People glitching some how?.. I Definately had a guy Lagg switching yesterday in a Team Instant Action. He would be firing then just Dissappear and you would get melee killed from behind.

I have died instantly 4 times in a row being killed by the same player as soon as I respawn. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? Shooting a guy in the back with a M60 then he turns around...switches to pistol and HEAD SHOT...... you dead.

Are there guys cheating or is the connection from people all over the world making it look that way?
I have about 7 friends that will not play crysis2 online because they say it is too laggy and to many cheaters.
I love the game online just get frustrated when 1 guy trolls around with a pistol and melee kills the entire match.

I unfortunately am a bit of a trophy lover so have to live with the bad connection and the slow rank up..lol
BUT thanks to crytek on double xp weekend..I played my brains out and got to level 47.

I am glad you post your experiences, I hope more people will, It's good to know others have similar experiences, unfortunately I can only agree with you.

I even have a list of usernames, always the same guys performing what seems to be impossible. (and no, I am not talking about the Melee exploit because that's something everyone can do, with some training)

And just like you say, they have some kind of super cloak. I easily spot cloaked players, but these guys are more cloaked than others.

They also move around at impossible speeds and it doesn't seem to drain much of their energy, something that I have never been able to achieve or even come close to during my own game-play, and I am far from being a bad player. Also after two jumps my energy bar is almost completely drained, and the same is true for most other players, but these guys can jump incredibly high, over and over, they are just a bunch of fleas.

Also, I can never keep up with them, when I am in the same team as they are, they always outrun me in a few seconds, leaving me far behind, killing every other player on the map in an instant, leaving nothing for me to do but to watch my completely drained energy bar while they are happily running and jumping around cloaked.
Even when I run around with my nova pistol at maximum speed with mobility enhance level 3, I still can't run as fast as they do, and that's why i am absolutely certain that some players have different game stats on their console.

Did they alter it themselves? I think not actually, they are not cheaters in my opinion, just lucky to have a small advantage, and that is all it takes in such an action packed game. Maybe better hardware or something?? Who knows right?

I also have the same issue than you with my gun that refuses to fire when aiming at certain players, strangely it only happens when in a dogfight with certain well known 'top' players, never with regular players. 'Weird' is not even the word in order because it is not a random event. I can even predict weapon jamming when I see some user-names in Match lists, and when I see who killed me on killcam, it only makes me say: no surprise anymore...



(I do have the feeling my PS3 became slower 'in general' after installing a larger HDD drive in it, the previous one only had 80 Gig, maybe I should look into that)

had the same issues that is written here ,, am a new player, I thought at first it was because of leveling up some suite modules or something, but it is not possible,, lightning speed and complete invisibility!! srsly somebody here plz explain,,

I get the odd weapon jam and lag problem ~ but nothing like you're describing. Is it only in Team Instant Action or in other game modes?

I only play TIA or IA, the guns sometimes jam at random moments too, but against some players, it really gets symptomatic.

Most of those players with unusual abilities can only be found on TIA, so it's there where I notice these things.

Glitches and bugs are off course all over the place in C2, Crytek never bothered to fix these, on the other hand, those special 'abilities' i refer to are definitely user dependent and can't be defined as a glitch in my opinion because it is not random. Only a handful of users actually seem to enjoy super-cloak and lightning speed. And it is always the same guys, this does not mean I can not defeat them, it is just unusually hard.

I believe this is a serious matter and crytec staff should be working on some solution and fast,, my record is 9 wins and 23 losses maybe ,I just wanted to make sure its not because of using some unfair methods ,, am a noob & thats a fact

Crysis 2 is not an easy game, at first i had terribly bad scores, but you get used to the gameplay and after a while things get natural, the game even feels slow after a while, when you are totally used to play it.

By the way, there are a lot of very good elite players who have just the same disadvantages as everyone, and they perform very often what seems to be impossible, but that's just because they are very well trained and have fast reflexes and quick thinking.
I am just referring to a few guys out there who have obvious advantage over others, they are a small minority, there is even one of them who enjoys enhanced invisibility and can one shot kill you from all over the map in a single shot, but he has such a weak gameplay that I own him every single time. So using tactics and smart thinking, and knowing your maps certainly is still necessary if you want to be good at it.

Still too bad C2 is such a glitchswamp.
