I don't think this has been said but you speed up that process by typing the first couple of letters in there name and then hitting TAB.

EX: votekick NA[TAB] = votekick NATARAJA5

And it will auto finish their name for you, that way you don't have to TAB through 15 ppl to get to the end of the list. If there are several people with names starting with NA you can type a lil more and it auto finishes at any point in the name. Just a lil time saving shortcut so you don't get type killed trying to votekick fools.

Perfect... thx for this.

To add ... nice for everyone to use NAT@ss as a subject lol.

Awesome! Revisions added to the OP.

Thanks THRlLL3R and everyone else for helping make this a thorough document.

I thought everyone knew of the autocompletion with TAB. It's a standard feature in IRC when you want to highlight someone.

Yeah, I didn't know you could do that either. If someone had said, it works like tab to complete in Cisco IOS, it would have made perfect sense to me.

Why is it that I cannot initiate another vote straight after initiating a vote? I was trying to get qu@tar votekicked, but all the boneheads were not voting. As soon as the votekick failed, I tried another one and it would not come up on screen for players to vote.
A couple of minutes later, I could do it successfully again.

^THIS.

It is a timeout for that same player to initiate a new kick. It is configurable by the server, with a default of 180 seconds. Low settings DO lead to abuse. There is nothing to prevent a different player from starting a new kick against the same offender, however.

What about the same player initiating against a second "marvelous" player? In other words, I try to start a vote on #1, then #2 soon after. Any limitation there CH4NCE?
