Nope. I'll be playing all day until ~10pm GMT.

If anyone wants to practice, add me.

Another time then.
I re-installed my game a few weeks back so any one on my friends list needs to send a new friend request. (If you still feel the need for it.)

Hey, wats the good perks for 1vs1? cos my favourites(energy transfer and retriever) will be useless. :)

Nano Recharge, Covert Ops & Rapid Fire for Reflex DSG-1 + Silencer + Ex Clip.
Nano Recharge, Covert Ops & Weapon Pro for Reflex SCAR + Ex Clip + Urban Camo.
Nano Recharge, Covert OPS & Point Fire Enhance for Reflex FY71 + Silencer + Singleshot.

Covert Ops is my new fav. It used to be Visor Enhance for all. But now only sniper scopes do I equip VE.

I don't think so. It's just another form of melee. The tourney is DSG/Gauss only.

Don't think you can get enough airstomp height in poolday anyways.

Btw slide kick is automatic kinda hard to prevent that sometimes...

I wanna do some practice (tho I'm not in dsg tour).
Maybe even scarab practice. My aim is little bit off, because I'm always changing my mouse settings, trying to get them perfect... xD

Any tips for reflex sniping? How do you compensate for the initial recoil? I've tried flicking down just a bit but that doesn't seem to really help me at all lol. I've tried both w/rapid fire and aim enhance figuring AI would do me better but nope. I need to get out of the spray n pray club dammit. I really hate that to jump up in skill I'll need to take an assraping while I sort it all out...

Well its a totally different game playing with the dsg reflex. You have to do a number of things differently, from the way you approach enemies and the optimal range for fighting single foes or groups.

You also need to figure out what type of aiming your best at (strafe and timing shots) or (actively keeping the red dot on your foe) or (twitch style aiming)

With twitch style aiming its important to learn what your muscle memory wants to do when you twitch (how far does your (twitch) tend to go)

For example, if I'm twitch aiming I figured out that it worked best for me if i put my red dot about 2 in-game feet to the right of my opponent, which is like an inch in realityif measured on the screen, before i made my (twitch) movement.

Best way to approach using dsg is to practice and focus hard on what is and what isnt working for you and develop a consistent system.

About the compensating for recoil question:

usually, if standing still and aiming at one point, the bullet impact will be exactly where the red dot is aiming. You do however need to lead your shots when fighting a moving target.

also, mentality plays a huge part in your dsg experience. For me, i need to be focused yet somewhat unattached and unemotional.
