I was just wondering, does Crysis 2 sync my multiplayer progress so I don't have to start at level 1 if I reinstall the game? I noticed it doesn't have a cloud sync icon in Origin. But maybe data is pulled when you log in inside the game?

Your MP progress is stored in the cloud.

WAIT. NOT ALL OF IT.
It should be, but it isn't. Loadouts, browser preferences, assesments, dogtags, etc, are also tied to the active singleplayer profile in unpredictable (unintended!) ways.

Short form:
If your reinstall will erase your ..\Saved Games\Crysis 2\profiles folder, back it up first then re-install it too.

If your Profiles folder is gone you only lose your single player progress, retriever module assessment and 5 custom classes to default which can easily be set up again. The others will be there.

True, its not as dire as I made it sound. The effect on assessments goes beyond just retriever (which Is bugged on its own, as I recall). Weapon unlock counts often get out of sync, for example.

Rank, etc. and all usage data are successfully stored in the cloud, but all of those assessments apparently arent rebuilt properly at the beginning of each session. This matters to some folks, not at all to others.
