So I come home for a few matches before the gym (~5 pm EST) to see my Xbox hard freeze not once but 4 TIMES IN A ROW, I REPEAT 4 TIMES!!!! Guess who was to blame? That trifling beach Crysis2--she was stuck at "INITIALIZING SQUAD" screen and she was incorrigible. I nearly kicked her out of my life again, but instead I gave her another chance. If she breaks my XBOX, I swear to GOD I will learn how to hack and destroy Crytek--Ok ok a bit overstated there, but I will definitely buy a new XBOX and cry everyday about it here like DukeMagnum; It won't be pretty!

This happended to me & my mates last night. Think it was some sort of server update from Crytek that was causing the crashes.

Still can you name one game this gen, or even last that would hard freeze a system during an update? I'm not so tech savvy, so I won't pretend to know how damaging that can be on system hardware. But is it out of the realm of possibility to assume that anything that can cause your system to stop repeatedly could in fact be causing damage to the hardware?

If I took a sip of a drink and it cause my heart to stop. I'd be alarmed (maybe dead). Let's assume it's just for a moment, and that I took another sip, and got the same "my heart just stopped feeling." Would I not be a fool to try this 2 more times? Would I not potentially run the risk of causing irreparable harm to my body? If I died, could my wife or mother sue the maker of [insert popular drink company here]? Would they [inserted company] retort that I knew of the potential damages caused and that it was my fault?
I tell you what, if Crytek breaks my xbox, I'll surely attempt to sue them for as much money as I can squeeze out of them. There will be no Crysis 3, but hey in my world all the DLC will be free, and those that paid for it will be reimbursed. I'm Mike your next-gen Robin Hood.
