hey I cannot activate the high texture pack...is greyed out and yes i have installed it. I triple checked it(even the installer says that I already have it installed) can you guys help me? please

Just got patch 1.9 with the auto update. Download and installed both DX11 and hi-res texture without any problem too!
Using the hard copy of the limited edition.
My rig is:
i7 950
GTX580
12 gb ram
120gb ssd

I have the game via Steam
When i try to install the patch i get the error "Crysis 2 could not be located on your system. Re-install Crysis 2 and then run this patch again" but the game is most definitely installed
Any help would be much appreciated

On an unrelated note I installed both the DX11 patch and the High res texture pack and all of the NPCs are missing, both models and textures. The version I have is from Steam. My system is: Core i5 2500K 8GB RAM GeForce GTS250 1GB (I know this is a DX10 card and the option to enable DX11 is greyed out anyway) Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Edit: I've decided to reinstall Crysis 2, try it without the High Res Textures first and see if that makes a difference.

Damn update, after 1.9 patch i cannot play the first maps, Only Decimation and Retaliation maps , other than that i got this on my screen. and i already went to Crymod and i cannot find any S*** there to fix my damn problem.

After the patch I'm having a problem when running the game on directx 9, right in the beginning the fog is hiding the statue of liberty.

So it won't let you even try and run it if your card doesn't have 768mb? :( I have W7 64, Quad Core, 8gb ram and an 8800GTS 512mb. I was going to give it a try at least and see what happened. Thought it would work just not ideally.

is it okay if I only install the DX11? or I must install the DX11 and high res texture?
