Download this software and use it to set your GPU fan to max, also you can try OCing with it >> http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/download.htmIn windows task manager / resource monitor see how your CPU is doin' while gaming.

Both DX11 and Texture pack Works fine and great for me...dunno what other people are screwing up on their end :P lol
Win Vista 64bit 4gb ram, 1tb Raid 0, Nvidia GTX 560ti, Quad Core Q6700 @ 2.66 ghz
Runs very smooth everything on ultra, at 1080p, but could be a bit smoother, gunna do some OCin' since I'm watercooled baby (IMO 8gb ram is not necessary)

Ah man... after some nice high/DX11 action i reached the Central Station mission. Just as i was walking up the steps to the entrance of the station i started getting massive shadow flickering :(
Also near the Onyx building too where the marines and SAM's are placed it was as if i was seeing two bridges blurring into one another :(
I tried reverting back to an older driver than 275.50. I used WHQL 270.61 and the problem still occured.
My System:-
Core i7 980X @ stock 2x GTX580 3GB version in 2-way SLI 12GB DDR3 RAM 1200w PSU 1920x1080 monitor res Windows 7 64-bit
Patched @ 1.9 + Hi Res Enabled DX11 Enabled - everything on ULTRA. Motion Blur Disabled

Someone know the way to get darkness away from the game? It's now like a vampire-nanosuited-dark story... I don't care about graphic anymore. I just wanna to save my eyes from the darkness... Tried "brightness", it's not flushing darkness away. Like the darkness is now controlling this game.

Ya, I've got both DX11 enabled and the Texture pack enabled and everything set to Ultra with motion blur on medium. It plays just fine for me.
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit 6GB Corsair DDR2 800 RAM 500GB hard drive [nearly full] ATI HD5870 Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz @ 3.0GHz
It runs just fine. Though, looking at the textures, they don't look very high resolution even though they're enabled in game.

BeauT3rHam wrote: Also, the microstuttering is back in all its former glory. This is indepent of graphical settings, dx11 on/off, and high res textures on/off.
Specs: i7 920 @ 4.2Ghz ATI HD6970 CrossFire (catalyst 11.6) I used to own two GTX590's and ran those in Quad SLI. Microstutter was a b1atch with those too. So i sold em and got two GTX580's (3GB versions) and microstuttering went away. Plus with those 580's each having 3GB of vram, i wasn't losing out that way either :) Quadfire and Quad SLI is and always has been a mess. Don't think i'll be trying that again in a hurry. Just gonna stick with 2-way SLI with two of the best single-GPU-based cards.

It runs just fine. Though, looking at the textures, they don't look very high resolution even though they're enabled in game. Seconded. I don't think they look very hi-res either. Perhaps only the DX11 pack installed correctly and the hi-res pack may actually be switched off even if it says its switched on?

Quote: Requirements: - Fast HDD or even SSD What is considered to be fast for them? Would 7200 RPM be enough? Or should I get a HDD with 10000 RPM?
