I wasn't a big fan of the Scarab in the SP but in MP it seems more powerful that the Scar, which has been my FAV until now, ...i'd like to change to the Scarab sometime and give it a trial run, hopefully 30mm grenade attachment can be added to it ... I did have a trial run of the Feline and found that one quite useful, my speciality is the 30mm Noob-Tube, :P

The MP seems to quite favorate CQB / high ROF weapons over long range / low ROF weapons. Maybe the pace of MP is bit too fast ATM?

For Scar and Scarab the math is simple
The First to get 5 (scar) or 7 bullets (scarab) into the enemy wins.
so ROF wins in close range. DMG+ACC wins in medium long range

Well tbh its neither of those... in call of duty u get to kill em as soon as u see em like 1 bullet and they drop dead. In crysis 2 its kind of fast but u get to shoot each other more and actually use some skill to survive...

I personally prefer the Scar. Yes in some cases the scarab is better in close range, but I use in the Power module the one that gives me more fire rate, so not only my Scar is stronger than a normal Scarab, but it has a better accuracy, better range and even a better fire rate. Makes the Scar quite deadly, imo.

Well, I prefer the Scar. Accuracy and Damage is important to me. Of coure, I lose every battle in close range against a scarab, they fill you with lead before you can shoot xD
But while a scarab-guy has to come near, I can almost sniper across the map. But I can also run wild in mid range. (Okay, in mid range the scarab's also good).
I'm using Energy Transfer (until I level Nano recharge), Stealth Enhance and mobility enhance. I'm trying to stay in motion, never let them get a clean shot. (acutally, this strategy often fails) With ME III you can fire faster after sprinting, so if an enemy shows up surpisingly (and he's also surprised) while sprinting, I can shoot him easily.

Im not sure but last time I checked the stats bars in the equip menu I found out that the scar has one stripe more in accuracy then the scarab and the scarab has 1 stripe more in firerate then the scar.I prefer scarab cause you wont notice the accuracy loss of 1 stripe.
