Any word on this? I was going to buy it when it came out, but then saw that there's no options for motion blur, detail sliders, etc. This is a PC game, so where's the PC options? I realize that you can edit config files manually, or download a tool to do it for you, but that's not good enough for a 60 dollar PC game. If this doesn't get patched, I'm not buying until it's 10 dollars or less on steam. If it is patched, I'm buying it immediately in spite of my hatred for EA.

just write at google "crysis 2 advanced graphics options", and download that file, it's quite good actually. You can even change zoom/crouch to toggle. That should have been in the game, it's crytek's shame that a fan did what they should have done so easily.

You are paying not for a game but for a years of development and graphic engine which is worth more than you will make in a years. 60$ for years of hard work of many people... thats cheaper than paying 5$ for a plastic toy.

Yes, that work is true, but is it not Crytek's fault for not including these options? I feel as if this company has completely forgotten where they came from. Most of the players on this forum have played the original Crysis games, and bought the second one in hope for the same experience. These games have broken grounds with their visuals, graphics and details, and we can not even adjust how they look/perform on our systems. Im not saying that I hate EA/ Crytek or anything, but if they are going to put all of this work into a great game, they should at least have basic options available. I personally was stunned at the fact that there is no advanced options, but lets all hope that they patch this with 1.3!

Are you living under the rock? Its 2011, not 2004. Games are dumb, consolized, no options, no gameplay. Just shoot everithing whats move, and keep pressing "A" button, so something awensome will happen.

@JRM414
There is mod to change graphic settings, but sure they could implement GUI in settings. On another hand game engine optimization is great so it runs without problem on quite old rigs, and only thing which make sense to change in settings is amount of AA, blur. I have found graphic even more amazing without blur, reduced Edge AA/MSAA.

Right now players have everything what they need to mess with GFX settings, so what is the point of making xxxxxx threads about no gfx customization in game, and rushing it like someone would not live without it? idk rly...

Try to play DeusEx1. Compare it to consolized DX2. Try to play Crysis1, you can play level without shoot anything, try this in C2. Now look at games like C2, CoD BO or "shame of the year" Dragon age 2.... Yes, game are much "dumber" than in the past

Im not a complainer by any means about games, I just want the option to adjust my AA and get rid of blur. I have the same thoughts you do, my idea of good graphics is just the option to have 8xAA, and less blur.
