This, along with the framerate, is the most irritating visual glitch of the game: Campaign AND Multiplayer aside...

Isn't that just Motion blur?
Remember that Alcatraz is mega busted up at the beginning... If it was me I would be flat on the floor from all those injuries heh. A little blurred vision at times is what I thought was part of the storyline... I found it got less as time goes on and the suit fixes Alcatraz up.

Yeah i have this same problem. I got thiy annoying grain lines if i look clearly in the sky :/
Ive already tried different things but i cant fix it. First i thought my xbox has a problem,but other games looking clear like they should. I thing its a engine problem.

I have the same problem. I first noticed it on the first level with rain, not sure if its related, but the levels with rain seem to really amplify this problem. Anyway, what I notice happening is say your making your way through a particular area, go inside a large building and get a check point, then exit and reload inside the building, the grain bug will be gone. But as you start to leave the building, the grain will come back just before you get back outside. It's not super noticeable most of the time, but IMO it does take away from the visuals slightly, and the visuals is one of the big things about this game. Hopefully Crytek is aware of this strange bug and is working on a patch soon.

I had the same issue. Hopefully they will patch this up asap because it really looks bad. Glad to see I'm not the only one with this problem.

same here!
I have this on my Toshiba Hull HD TV!
first i thougt my TV is broken..i tried every settings..TV and 360 -- nothing
Then i tried it on my HDMI PC Monitor and it was the same problem too!
because its just on Crysis 2 (All other games are great quality) dis can not be an hardware issue!
Its just like when Crysis 1 came out!This Game was a BUG_MOTHERSHIP!
Fix this pls!!

I have the same issue, I noticed it on the first level with rain, there even more grain and this very blocky red/blue/green gray layer underneath everything. It's the worst when looking up at the sky.
I hope they release a patch that fixes this and gets rid of film grain all together.

I didn't notice that.. Many don't have problem. Some have a problem. The such can't be. ...Most likely a problem with yours HDMI
But I certainly will look more attentively..
