If you Resume Game and had a checkpoint in alien crashsite on the level "Sudden Impact", a loud continuous noise can be hear (Insect/Robotic Alien Noise?) It turns off with Cloak activated but then continues when cloak is deactivated.


I have come across every bug this guy posted, most annoying of which is the film grain effect distorts. The choppers disappearing though is just draw distance, not a bug. I can't believe they released the 360 version with such an awful graphics glitch with the film grain effect. You end up having to quit the game, reload from the beginning of level to get rid of the glitch. Then it's good, until the glitch pops up again later down the road, rinse and repeat. Please fix this A.S.A.P. Crytek!!

Also, as others have pointed out numerous times, the Proximity Alarm isn't working. That needs to be added to the list.

And finally, I've come acroos a video glitch which only seems to appear in Capture the Relay. I've had several games where 3 diaganal rows of blue rectangles glitch across the screen (top-left to bottom-right) when you perform an action. It only ever happens when you perform one specific action; in one match it was whenever I activated nano vision, and in two others it was whenever I performed a slide while cloaked. I'm playing now as I type this and the same thing just happened in my last match. Cloaked slide. Has anyone else seen this or am i the only one?

um.
yesterday i got the rank 50 achievment after a freeze.
i quited the multiplayer lobby and voila. rank 50 achievment. but im still at rank 1.

It seems I just might start this as a paragraph, and if this doesnt convince everyone. Maybe somebody from Crytek will.

Proximity Alarm is working fine.
At Upgrade 1 its very little range, and the sound file has been changed from the previous versions as seen in the demo. During Upgrade 2 you will find you discover that the proximity alarm amazing starts to get more and more range. Probably During Upgrade 3 is going to start to make a difference

Its not broken, you all just didn't give it time.
And if you cant hear it during upgrade 2, then i will add to the list. Make Proximity Alarm LOUDER.
It helps to hear it with Turtlebeach headsets...

Theres also a topic here too, but I find this "issue" found in my topic too much. Its pushed me to the point where I must throw this in.

Grain/Static Bug - Original Topic here: viewtopic.php?f=41&t=12929

Sometimes, after playing normally for 1-2 hours, the output gets this weird Grain/Static effect on screen (like very old CRT TVs malfunctioning), like a transparent "No TV Signal-Static"-like effect, and it's really ugly, distracting and annoying to see.

It happens both in Campaign and in Multiplayer too, and I really don't know why it's there: I tried different games and configuration, but ONLY C2 is affected by this, so it's software dependent rather then hardware/cables.

I really hope they recognise it and fix it.

Until then, I found a way to temporary fix it:

**Method 1** When you see it turn off your console. Restart the game, go to the Main Menu, and reload the Campaign Chapter you were playing from the beginning with "Repeat Mission". You will get the default weapons of the level, but the bug will disappear.
It seems to be a problem with "Resumed Savegames" in the middle of the levels...


**Method 2 (if Method 1 doesn't work for you)** Turn Off your Console. Restart the game, go to Multiplayer->Private Match, and launch a Private game with only you inside. Just let the map load, and go around the map. The problem should disapear (even on Campaign side, just reload the Chapter from the Beginning like in Method 1)

Hope it will work for you, cause it works for me... ;)

Oh, and another one:

Framerate Slowdowns in Campaign

Really often during some fights and scenarios (like Wall Street, or the crashed Hotel or the Rooftops in later levels, and many many other moments) the framerate drops down drastically becoming almost impossible to aim correctly, and input lag is present. Hope they can adjust the Campaign configs to optimize better those moments to an higher and more stable FPS, at least for aiming better and without lag.

Campaign (single player):
- Every time a sequence occurs where I need to shoot down a helicopter/Ceph Gun ship the JAW rocket launcher I have will be brought up without a rocket loaded and I am unable to reload it. It is particularly annoying because in those sequences there is always another JAW on the ground but I am locked out of picking it up because the one I have still has available ammo. This was also a problem if I remember right in the last level of the original crysis on pc that you could only fix by replaying the mission from the begining.

- Multiple instances where I am unable to pick up a weapon laying on the ground or an object. In some cases there will be two weapons near each other and only one will get the white outline showing that I can pick it up. Weapon may be partially sunk into game world or object making it unselectable?

- When restarting at a checkpoint, dying in level or resuming the campaign, which is behind a wall/obstacle from enemy AI. The enemy AI knows your exact position and will begin shooting directly at you. The perk which shows the bullet vectors makes this very apparent.

- Enemy AI on occasion will know your exact location when cloaked, this usually occurs after re-spawning from a death.

- Enemy AI walking through walls and falling through the world

- Enemy AI stuck in walking animation. Seems to be limited to the human enemies when they get stuck like this they do not respond to you at all.

- Human enemy AI is unable to toss a grenade over the cover it is hiding behind resulting in them killing themselves.

- Multiple instances where I am unable to collect any goo/slime/whatever its called from an alien corpse. falling into game world perhaps?

- On screen display for the stealth kills/headshots achievement shows up at random. I didn't even know it existed until I got my 14th stealth kill and the box displayed for the first time.

-Several audio glitches from distorted music to speech cutting out. occurrence seems to be random

Multiplayer:
- Music between rounds has its volume increased and generally sounds very distorted

- As mentioned the proximity alarm seems to do nothing

- Most the Time when I select quick game I end up in a room by myself after 1-2 minutes of "searching for game" <-- this will most likely clear up when more people are playing, at least I hope.

- Almost all my other problems with multiplayer hit detection, consistency of weapon damage, armor, etc come down to the connection between me and the game host which can only be solved by a better host choosing algorithm

I've encountered a problem with grenades and the SCAR grenade attachment where instead of the grenade being thrown or firing, the sound effect of the sidearm or SCAR can be heard, but nothing happens. When throwing grenades in particular, the grenade itself disappears, leaving an empty hand. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

This is what Im looking for when people are reporting issues to me, I saw these issue being reported but I didnt know how to put it down with the devs or the community confused on the problem. This clears it up for me.
