thanks! this appears to have fixed the "serial code in use" multiplayer problem for me. I also created a profile in the game instead of using the default, in addition to these three steps.

Yes this worked for me. Unfortunately all the servers are frozen. We can join the server lobbies but the game never starts. FAIL!

Not working for me either...when I imput the key which btw has already been activated all the numbers turn into asterisks except the last 4...this is fast becoming what we in australia call ****....been trying for hours all the so called fixes some people claim work and now this...I think I should just give up PC gaming...it's rapidly becoming a money for nothing thing..you get my money and I get nothing.

I am a little confused about the serial..
It's the serial you use to activate the game you must enter in MP right?
Well I guess it is well every time I try to connect to a server I get the message that the serial is in use.
What????
I have started the single player but I bought this game for MP but I can't even play that.

ok, i gave it a go and it works and even when i restart the game the serial is still in place after the work around.

I bought this game via digital download from the EA Store, and I would very much like to know where I can find my serial key. I'm guessing it's not the license key that I unlocked the game for download with, so where is it?

I tried the fix and when I go back into the MuliPlayer Login Entry it does show up again.
But then I try to LOGIN to multiplayer, I get the `Account Details Incorrect` message
The login details are correct.
I can get onto Crysis (1) Wars
Get this fixed thanks
