Right now, GTX 680 or HD 7970. There are no other choices as far as "Top-end gaming graphics solution" goes. Everything else is malfunctioning bullcrap.

You better hope, my good Lukas, that Crysis 3 has good SLI support. Buying 3 GTX570 was an appallingly stupid move.

Honestly, my GTX 570 maxes out every game on the market right now. Including BF3 (with ambient set to SSAO and no motion blur).
The 6970 handles BF3 even better too.
Not to mention that even an Athlon X4 6xx CPU doesn't even really bottleneck the highest end single GPU setups available today (beyond 1fps avg), and it makes a lot of your guys rigs seem like overkill.

Athlon X4 does indeed bottleneck 6970 and 580. Don't look at averages, look at minimums. Massive difference.
To stop bottlenecking you need AT LEAST an overclocked Phenom II x4, to 3.6/3.8 minimum.

If I could get 200fps instead of the 180 I get right now... Well, I don't care ^-^ And the min never drops below 60.

My X6 stops bottlenecking my 6970 at 3.4, 3.6 if I overclock the GPU significantly.
With your 570, 3.3-3.4 sounds about right. I wouldn't worry too much.
