well you can also see this as well like C1 vs c2 or Microwave 1 vs there second Microwave
...We telling the manufacturers that their second Microwave is not good, and asking things that they had in M1.
Crysis 1, it's Crysis 1 Crysis 2, it's Crysis 2 Crysis 3 will be Crysis 3 Such statements .. like "game will be bad", when you even not played in the game .. I take it as a selfishness child. If you like it something in Crysis 1 .. does not mean, that this must be in Crysis 3. Crysis 3 will be a new game, new opportunities .. Like it you this or not. I will play in Crysis 3 on Gamescom, only then i can imagine something about the game C1 is C1 C2 is the Follow up to C1 C3 is the follow up to C2 which is the follow up to C1 if not, that why is it called Crysis? ....When you build a New IP, you create Ideas and concept to that IP when you want to create a new Concept than you make a new IP not re-use IP you cant have C1 as a FPS than C2 a Boxing game than to have C3 to become a racing Sim its needs to fellow the Concept place by the IP...it goes for the Story to it needs to fit within the World that it is place in or you will have a C2 where the plots holes are just everywhere ... but now I never said C3 will be bad, i just said that (in another thread) the gameplay which i can see comes from C2, does not attract me...i for one dont care about Crysis game anymore or never did... to me the new gameplay/Style is just...too meh ...i just support the ideas of people in this forum cause they do have valid points, its kind of funny....that this game has gotten into a Crisis itself lol the irony of it.. now what i am looking towards is Cryteks Engine 3 (which looking at C3 can give you a view on how its going, may i add its looking pretty good on the engine side?) and Warface, ^^^which is Free to play/ (Demo in my eyes) if i like it buy the game (which comes in packs -.-)

Everyone,
we are going to delete these forums from the internet.
Its clearly childish to express an opinion on previous games in a video game franchise, and to express dissappointment when a franchise take a wildly different direction from its original game design. Also childish to express a negative opinion on gameplay trailers showing a clearly continued divergence from the original game's gameplay.
All of you go to your rooms and think about what you've done.
WHat do you think the "Official Crysis Community" forums are here for anyway? some kind of community forum for discussion and sharing of your opinion or something?? pffft, how childish
If you don't understand the logic behind this post, PM Lorenso, he's the only one with the maturity to understand it...

As the opener of this thread I wish some participator to stop it, chill it, stay calm and remove that A---- *hold left Ctrl and click now.. .. Didn't get blown away? Okay... let's back to talking. To the gameplay part, Crysis is a game that just throw you the player into a pit where you're mostly on your own. This normally will sound like a total tragedy when you got no Crowbar, or buncha pain pills, or Cortana behind your head pointing directions for you. Crysis is about adaptive combat warfare just like how US SEALs train their guy. Throw the rooks on a island and leave them only a pair of boot with no strap and a handy knife. And that is what a power tool like Nanosuit is offering. Opportunities and endless possbilities. In the case of those navy SEALs, it's them. They are completely on their own. Their body, their mind and the skills that they learned are the tools that they gonna use to survive the course time. And why Crysis 2 is bad at this is because it lost the taste of the original on your own element and feeling which is why we love original Crysis so much. Not just because the graphic it got back to 2007 is unmatch-able. Such thing that are already great nowadays. You can switch to speed mode, rush through a group of PDAs and no one know what-the-hell just went through them. Then switch to strength mode jump cross the fences then switch to cloak mode immediate after to hide your touchdown in a ninja fast of 5 seconds while bring up the flashbang in mid air ready to create a the diversion for you to infiltrate even more. Then you can continue to skillfully play around suit modes. No matter it is die-hard armor or ninja ass-ass-in' cloaking. Or you are a true adaptive warrior, you don't stick with one specific method but apply everything you got for everything that's currently thrown at you. And that huge open world back to Crysis 1 is a ton-of-fun. It is truely replay-able even without achievements and collectables. CryTek make some changes to C2. Sure the game is more cinematic and more story-telling as they will be able to add more stunning cutscenes and carefully designed stages into the game. But it turns out to be so much diverge from the origin in style and in feeling. Which I believe makes the result over here a no big surprise at all. .. .. You can't make everybody happy... is one of the sad reality I don't like. But you do can make the players unlikely to continue to have that "Why can we only this? Why no that?"" thinking by providing more. Because at the end, players will always tend to the way they like the most and feel the most comfortable with. And that is what I was suggesting to the control system. Create more moves and approaches to the gameplay for the players to blow some steam with. While also making those actions fun, good and full with pleasure and joy by just watching how smooth and flawless they are. -- "CryTek make good Engines, but not good games." This is a quote from the local forum in Taiwan that I can vaguely remember and somehow agree, despite as being a part of it's fanbase I'm not happy to. -- I think I will get back to the details in my next post. If no further explanation is needed to make.

- Ammo crates:
An old inconvenience. The ammo crate in the game will only replenish the ammo in the backup pool to full. It doesn't counted in the ammo that are missing in the current pool (the weapon). And since the total ammo can a ammo crate dispense is not counted by a actual amount but the number of times we interact with the crate. This tiny old flaw should be consider that needed to be fix/improve.
- Firearm reloading:
I think the procedure/process of reload should be layered. Which will generally be "unload (mag-out) > load (mag-in) > cock." The reload procedure now we have in the game are same as other shooter games. Which the reload action will not count and be recognized if the reload action is interrupted/canceled by such actions like switch to another weapon and melee.
Which means if you drop the reload by anytime and anyhow during the reload process. You'll always have to start over the whole reload from the unload the mag even the in the previous reload action the process has been to mag-in and ready to cock the chamber.
- Game Difficulties:
The difficulty design can actually be more than just ratios like damage taken and given. It can be something like.... how sensitive is the enemy awareness, how much in-coming waves will there be in that defending stage, how much ammo will be leftover in the weapon of a fallen enemy, how quick will the enemy's backup arrive to the scene and how much backup will they call-in. How advance and effective will their combat behavior be (covering fire, flanking, suppressing, fire power usages).
Because sometimes the fun part is that, you can give the killing blow with just one satisfying punch. Feeling how awesome and superior is the Nanosuit. And this kind of joy will just be smaller and lesser as difficulty that is set in the traditional way gets higher, which it makes the enemy tougher to kill and we are more fragile to taking hits.

Quote: NokiaSe Kid, you even not played in the game. How you can something recommend for the game. Crysis 2 It's Crysis 2. if you something didn't like in Crysis 2, post your resentment in Crysis 2 forum. This forum for upcoming Crysis 3. Crysis 3 will be a new game, with new opportunities, with new design and etc. If you believe, that someone will listen your recommendation(which for Crysis 2)..i say no! Crytek will not listen, will not make the game for one person from the forum. With the same success "You can recommend to artist, who right now paints a picture, what to do next in his picture." If you in your 20 years, think that he will listen you, I feel sorry for you Crytek will make game, like Crytek want. Not like you want, or someone else.

Lorenso, You really need to stop calling everyone a Kid cause that is really Childish
A forum is to post Feed Back, If you dont like how the majority of the Feed Back suggest that Their C2 gameplay was lack lusting and If the Majority thinks that C1 was a better example of Gameplay here what mature people like you and I would do 1.dont post on threads that are about those topics 2. Leave the forums
Forums are to express their view on Crytek action... Crysis 3 is not a New game, its Name Crysis is an IP that holds an Idea now Crytek try to change those ideas for the better but in return it did more harm then anything...
from SP,MP, to the Gameplay has all gone down Crytek, Needs to listen to their Fanbase, why? just take a look at Socom Devs team search about and see what happens when you dont listen Money is only gotten by the consumer
If you dont listen then you have to do what Crytek is doing to C3, Trying to pull things together, trying to bring back character back into game( and they cant even get VA back), and now they cant bring back nomad cause they did their best with killing of C1 story so much that they killed him... now as a Dev you dont take every single Feedback, you have take feedback that a majority agrees on and that have Valid points... as well the Devs needs to balance that with new Features and choice

Meh, I just love how since I´ve reading posts over and over through the forum before posting anything, everytime this Lorenso guy appeared was just for pure trolling. I wonder how long will take the mods to ban him.
Anyway, good thread you made here, much better developed than mine for sure, tho the devs. will probably wont pay too much attention to most points (**edit: just because they probably have already finished what they want from them), it´s good to have such a large variety of ideas.
I´m also up for having a button to throw nades without switch first (and why not both? just add extra controls for the **** PC).

If you in your 20 years, think that he will listen you, I feel sorry for you Crytek will make game, like Crytek want. Not like you want, or someone else. True, the most ideal, perfect condition is you had a vision right in the back of your head, you make/create something completely original in the way however you want - so the product that eventually came out will be just like what you wanted. And people at the further end turns out to be happy about your baby. So since this is no longer a origin title where a fanbase which follows for it's enchantment has been built. And in this condition, it is good to listen to fans, being loyal to them - knowing what they care about. Knowing what the fans like about the product, what makes them follow/support and being the fan of the product, what should be taking care of, what is bad and what should be fix/improve. Then the fans will show their fair respond back to you. AND SIR!! I'm here by seriously harbouring a suspicion of you're a Spy send by CryTek to doing the so-called forum troll to people. So he who don't have a firm stand behind their words will be recoiled. Hence only the true proven one will emerge! And for that, I would like to hire you in the possible future. 'Cause sometimes creative minds will get too... idealized. But in the other hand this is the best for them. Which will allow them to produce ideas without being limited by the boundaries.

Dear Lorenso:
When you want to dramatically deviate a series' gameplay, you SPIN OFF.
MegaMan X (which still retained most of its predecessor's spirit and core gameplay) wasn't called MegaMan 7. It was called MegaMan X. This is a trend almost universally prevalent in the history of video games. Learn your stuff, for pete's sake.
Crysis 3 should expand upon the gameplay of the FIRST game for the following reason:
Because Crysis 2 should have EXPANDED (as opposed to butchering and deviating) upon Crysis' gameplay, AND CRYSIS 3 SHOULD HAVE EXPANDED UPON THIS EXPANSION. Or, at the VERY least, not deviating/dumbing down/butchering.
Also: Criticism of Crysis 2 is EXACTLY RIGHT in the UPCOMING Crysis 3's forum because it is criticism made with the objective of shaping Crysis 3 into a better product by means of CUSTOMER FEEDBACK.
God forbid you make it into Marketing anywhere ever.
