In an interview with a Crysis 3 creative director they were asked about it but they said they dont have anything official on it yet.
I do believe the Wii U will be a lot more open to multiplatform games because of the up to standard hardware, so there's a possiblilty they will make it for the Wii U. You can also get that sense from the multiplatform games they've already announced for it; Asassins Creed 3, Mass Effect 3, and Batman Arkham City.
I myself think it'd be a good idea. Once they've configured their engine to create games for the Wii U they'll open themselves up to a wider range of opportunities for both game creation and sales.

Wii U is a bad platform, the problem is the controller. This makes it more difficult to have a game adding value to the experience while having to look down to your screen everytime. This does not improve or add value to games in any way.

Theres a video on youtube that I can't find right now where they interview the crytek representative at e3 and he says that crysis 3 will not be for the wiiU

The WII U could definitely handle Crysis 3 in a better way than the Ps3 and the 360. Not nearly as good as a maxed out DX11 PC- version but maybe with real full hd and good AA levels.

No, Crytek had announced sometime ago "the Wii U can run the cryengine 3, but crytek has no plans to release games on it, all of the cryengine 3 games on the Wii U will be made by their licensees"

No need to worry about the controller, they've already got that settled with their alternate 'pro controller'.
PS: Just found out my original account still works. I'm also SonicTrimsHedges; I made a new account one time because my original account randomly stopped working in Crysis 2. I'll be using this from now on even though my Crysis 2 stats are on the other one, I'd rather my original name.

Not sure where you guys are getting your info from, but I read an interview where a cryek representative said, "fat chance" when asked if Crysis 3 will be available for the Wii U. And to the guy who said the Wii U could handle it better than PS3 or X360, I laugh at you. The Wii U, while considered to be next-gen, is just barely as powerful as current gen consoles.
