Post subject: C3 MP nanosuit should be limited. Posted: 04 29, 2012 /12:15 |

Hi guys, i think that in SP you should be able to use nanosuit in his best form, with all modes and modules but in multiplayer this idea simply dont work. Letting every player to cloak, sprint, jump high ruins the gameplay. Because of this C2 multiplayer was more smilar to quake or unreal turnament than CoD or Battlefield. I think that in C3 multiplayer every player should wear a cheaper version of nanosuit which can only be focused on one side (better armor mode and strength but sprint more limited and cloak functions disable ). This could make crysis more tactic and realistic. I was really pissed of when i look on C2 MP where everybody was running on map like idiot with cloak on. Disable cloak, kill guy, and cloak again over and over again. Fully functional nanosuit could be included in MP but only as a some kind of reward (for example killstreak) or in special game mode where 2 fully nanosuit guys are fighting againts 10 non nanosuit forces.
Other thing is that C2 MP was too colorful. CryNet forces where strong blue and Marines were yellow, wtf ? o.0.However In armor mode everybody was shining like a christmas trea, shooting to someone in armor mode resulted yellow or blue energy flying out of body. Becaus of this game looked more like Star Wars than crysis. I would like to see Crysis 3 more realistic and less colored effects like in crysis 1. Do you remebmer C1 nanosuit intro ? I loved that moment when the bullets are shoot up from armor, and there where no colored energy or other shining **** from body.
I am really counting on C3 MP and i hope that crytek will not screw this ;)

Hmm, i think that the modes in C2 were better than in C1, you was able to choice every strengh mode option quicker, for example holding space or holding shift wile aiming is better than chosing new mode just to make super jump. Its just sucks when every player can super jump, cloak and sprint in MP.

Uh cloak is a part of tactical gameplay. The way it is now is fine, we just need something to stop the "run around entire map in cloak until you find someone" issue. But again other than that small problem MP is fine

Crysis Wars style would be great, but I think the odds of having a MP like that are closer to none than slim.
Crytek, how but one playlist with N1s, no modules, no classes, pick up weapons on old maps, with it just cycling through game modes. A gift for fans of the originals.

I am really counting on C3 MP and i hope that crytek will not screw this ;) DON'T Listen to Noobs If cry 3 plays Anything like Cry2 without the bugs that never got fixed you would have a great game you guys just failed to support the title within the console community and thats why it died all your patches where mainly for SP not MP Focus on MP patches and just make cry 3 a better smoother cry 2 and for all the people complaining about stealth being annoying its just cause i killed you so go have a CRY XD

Personally, I don't mind if you excessively use cloak or hacks in single player, it's your loss in skill. The moment you click that multiplayer button though, no more hacking, and it would be nice if cloak would be limited =)
Just a thought, we've all seen the nanosuit 1 in Crysis 1, but because psycho is returning, how's it ganna look in Crysis 3?

If you guys continue, they just might change, so don't do it. I like the suit in C2. Sure, cloak was a bit excessive, but necessary. Crysis 1 was an island, large one. There was cover every 1-2 meters + prone, Crysis 2 MP doesn't have these things, so better cloak was good.

So add prone and bigger maps, go with what was popular with fans of the series, intead of copying a game that died in 3 months

For each different category, there is a different amount of stats which are balanced. It seems simple to do it that way, and multiplayer would be balanced.
