It is painful that this isn't even hard to do: Puny console controller lacks buttons? Just hold cloak+armor for power! Double-tap either of them to go back to Tactical/Default.

Or just, y'know, make f*cking Armor mode the default one like in Crysis 1 and fix EVERYTHING easily.

Default: Armor
Current armor: Power
Cloak: Cloak.

Why do you guys keep insisting on having power being separate from speed?

I would prefer for each ability to be boosted, but I'd rather not lose the ability to be able to immediately power jump while I'm sprinting, thank you very much.

Do you know how **** annoying it would be for us to switch to power mode and back out to access the abilities?

Ummm, not very annoying at all, with a C1 radial menu. Max Payne 3 has a radial menu for the weapons, it works very nicely, and would work very nicely for C3.

Its just another skill to learn and add to the skill ceiling to the game, which encourages people to get better at that skill, rather than just grinding for better perks and letting the N2 do all the work for you.

Have you played the original games on PC? its very satisfying flicking through all 4 modes on the fly, getting faster and faster at it with practice

I think you misunderstand. We are all for having power mode as speed+strength. The thing you're not noticing is that power mode is strong, but not fast. Crytek claimed power mode would be speed mode combined with strength, but all we really got was strength mode. We simply want power mode to be as fast as Crysis 1, so that gameplay is fastpaced as it was in the original. Basically, we want power mode, with sprint making you zip along really fast. That is all. This is partially why I want a zero energy mode, this way when you activate power mode you can sprint along and then immediately power jump, zipping through the maps with the speed we know and love. It would also greatly set the game apart from other shooters, seeing as most people called C2 a 'CoD knockoff".

I agree, it's not difficult to do. I think they should keep the speed as it is, change Power Mode's name to Zero Energy, and make it use no energy, keeping the speed it's at right now and removing power jump. Then make another mode, Power, and make that really fast and be able to power jump, at the cost of high energy consumption. At the speed which energy replenishes, this won't be a problem like it was in Crysis 1, waiting a minute or two after only 3 strength jumps. Two really feasible changes that can make the game great. I hope someone at Crytek has the same idea or listens.

You know what is great about that as well, m'dear Zanthir?

No more "charging" for Power actions. Want man face smashed? Powermode tap, Melee tap, man face smash. Super fast. Super snappy. Super fun.

I believe that was due to no separated Power Mode, if this time we get it, it should be like that because, you know, that´s why we would use that mode.

And yet we won't get it and most of us will cry bitter tears.

If only...

We should work at Crytek as people who create new game concepts...haha.

And guess what's even grander about this? Even though you can smash man's face, he can still retaliate cause you're weaker in Power Mode! Thus balance...thus epic game.

Yeah agreed, the charging it had to do before an action slowed the game down immensely. The charging for kicking cars and etc. became ridiculous. In the time it takes to kick 1 car, I can kill two people with my Jackal...so whats the point? Plus, if I try to kick one at an attacker, they shoot me before I can complete it...

Power Mode as a seperate mode and not default is a must...as is the return of actual speed. Like you said before, we need the default as Crysis 1 armor, or Crysis 2 Power Mode without energy drain and power jump.

Not only that Zanthir, but kicking cars was extremely weak. Their positioning had to be JUUUUUUUUUST perfect and they had to be completely oblivious to your presence too, as kicking the car would get rid of your entire Energy Pool.

NanoSuit 2, yeah right.

Here's hoping they learn how to balance abilities in Crysis 3, eh Ruku? I think there's hope, but we won't know until they start revealing details.
