Just found out tht overkill pack gives not only typhoon weapon but it also gives early access to rapid fire. I typed in crysis 3 on google and a website said april 18 and in the article it states tht overkill gives access to rapid fire it makes sense since the description of the typhoon says `spewing 500 round s a second` Sounds like my kind of gun since i love using rapid fire 3 on the x mike lol Heres link http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q= ... Then I realized it said 500 rounds per *second*, holy shit :O

i've been surprised that no one is really reacting to that, its pretty ridiculous. i've got to think its a typo and they mean rounds per min.
if its not then its an AR and its fire rate is logically 30,000 rpm, that makes its fire rate 25x faster than the feline...

It also means that it fires a bullet every two milliseconds
Also, 500 rounds per minute isn't very fast at all

no not very fast, 50 less rpm than the mk.60, but it at least you can picture it in your mind, unlike 500 per second, i mean what's the damage gonna be per bullet, 0.5

I miss the Hurricane, 500/s seems either like an instant kill at the price of a mag or just a type, highly unrealistic for an Assault Rifle any way... :D I wonder if the alien weapons will be pick ups or something...

Has anyone even considered a metalstorm concept for the Typhoon?
Just because it can fire 500 rounds a second does not mean that it actually capable of it (logistically)
One of Metalstorm's prototypes is capable of 1.5million rounds a minute or around that figure. However it can not actually fire that many rounds due to the logistical issue of ammo...lots of it.
