Can't wait to have Crysis 1 on my xbox 360 on October, since it's from XBL I can get it on day one, without having to wait for the post mail to arrive, I also have it on PC from Steam the "Crysis Complete Pack", but nothing better to play it on my 32inch LCD with no lags, and major frame rates drops, since it's a remastered edition it's optimized, it's just run and forget about resolutions, better graphical cards and cpus.

Will the destructible environments/buildings still be intact with Crysis console version or will it be toned down?

I picked the game up because of a recommendation by a good friend (who happens to be a PC snob, and played all the previous iterations of the franchise). I tried the BETA and liked what I saw. The operative word being "liked" as in past tense, since the game that was released was far different from the BETA. Regardless I found a lot to enjoy in both the SP and Multi portions of the game, but my love surely dwindled like the community, as a result of Crytek's dishonorable business practices. I could care less whether or not they support an auxiliary forum with constant updates, but the fact that they released a rushed game, with ample bugs, and then never chose to address the plethora of issues is most despicable. The fact that they released two un-marketed and unannounced DLC packs within one month is laudable and wreaks of a shadiness. The fact that I bought them makes me a fool [one who eats a **** sandwich with a smile], but I'll not fall for their lies again. Mark my words.
I see your disillusionment. I played the BETA when it became open for 2 weeks and that was just out of control. Then the demo came out shortly after and that felt solid. If the bugs in multiplayer weren't game crippling at times they'd be ok but they aren't. Also that grain problem in campaign is really annoying. From what I can tell about Crytek is that this is how they work. Crysis 1 being 4 years old now and critically acclaimed still has major bugs. Sometimes people can't even finish missions because of them. I do not think Crysis 2 was rushed considering that it was publicly announced in 2009 so that would mean that they were working on it even before that. The problem that I see is that they don't follow up with what they make. Seems like they are more proud of awards and the tech they make than the game and the community they could have for it. And on the DLC. I agree. I found it strange that maps came out not even 3 months after the games release. Then another map pack not a month away from the previous one. Made me think something went bad with the publishing deal they have with EA.

It was simply a matter of Crytek and EA purposely setting the game up to die around the end of Summer, just in time to make way for BF3. It was important to not get in the way of their flagship series. The only way that can happen is to rush to market the DLC Map packs, so that the game in left languishing and hungry, around September when mapathy and frustration begins to reemerge and kill off what remains of the hardcore FPS fans. Sounds kind of like a conspiracy, but I believe it was always planned like this. The problem was that Crytek had already made the maps pre-release and needed to maximize its ROI, which is why we saw the better map pack released last. The FYI assault rifle made the difference, and "forced" people to buy it. Crytek is shady and that's not disillusionment--that's FACT!

you can't trust the reviews either, crysis 2 itself got a 9/10 on IGN, and the plethora of MP issues isnt even mentioned, you gotta let some poor sap of a friend dl it first, go to their house and test it, and then decide to buy it :P

I dont believe I missed it above, sorry if I did, but Crysis has been dated for release on October 4th as a games on demand title, not an arcade release. Just updating everyone.

Hm well I've had barely any problems with crysis 2 because it just loves me too much so I'll definitely be getting crysis 1. I know there are quite a lot of bugs in C2 but you have to remember not everyone has these problems and you've got to admit overall crysis 2 is great.

Crysis 1 on PC still has bugs since 2007 and it's still loved by the PC community.

I have already 1600 MS Points waiting for this game on 4th October, I reckon they will do a remastered edition for Crysis Warhead also, nothing better to play this awesome game on a Console with no hardware concerns regarding frame rates, CPU, GPU, etcs
