Post subject: Crysis 2 DX11 and high res textures  Posted: 03 14, 2013 /12:12 |

I downloaded the dx 11 and high res textures and i opened them and installed them but nothing has changed in the game? It looks exactly the same as it did before. Also, I have downloaded another mod but when I click the mods part in the game, there is nothing to select. I'm a mod noob and kind of a noob with computers, please help me.

You have to enable DX11 and high res textures in game, look in the options section.
Mods should be installed into your Crysis 2 folder, in a folder named "Mods" (you need the capital M)

Yes you must go into the options and enable DX11 and hi res textures like the other guy said. I just want to add if you get a ton of lag after doing so then you have a bug with your resolution. It happens to me at 1080p. If this happens to you then you will need to create a custom res in the control panel. I use 1919x1079 and it runs no less then 60fps. If this does not happen to you after turning on Dx11 then awesome and ignore most of my post.
