I can't figure out how to look up my Crysis 2 Xbox stats, but I found my Homefront Xbox stats, that's a good comparison. I'm pretty good at Halo: Reach (1.01 k/d), but that hasn't translated into the same level of performance in Crysis 2 or Homefront as yet. Homefront gameplay is a lot more like Crisis 2 than Halo: Reach is. I have a lot of practice in Halo that I don't have in aim down the sights with left trigger shooters. In Homefront 360 my k/d is 0.66, in Crysis 2 PC my k/d is 0.60. Homefront 360 31 wins 28 losses, Crysis 2 PC 16 wins 16 losses. Pretty close to the same. If PC keyboard and mouse players are so much better than Xbox controller players, then why is my performance not significantly worse on Crysis 2 PC?

Because your PUB stomping everyone that bought the Maximum Edition that just came out. If you want, we can 1v1 (be that I'm not that great) and I can show you the power of the KB+M.

I didn't see anything in the mouse movement video that I can't do on a controller, that I don't consider unnecessary movement. An experienced controller player just learns to be more careful about not wasting time with unnecessary movement, no frantically looking around everywhere, even places where it isn't possible for someone to be and glancing at the same places twice, after you've already determined there is no one there. You carefully look everywhere someone could be, in a given area, once, and keep moving. You use a combination of strafing and turning to efficiently look around corners, while staying behind cover. If you stop in an area for any length of time, you use scenery to limit the number of directions players can approach or fire from to reduce the area you need to sweep to watch for enemies, like keeping close to a wall corner behind you. I can get a pretty wide range of movement speeds with an Xbox controller anyway, it's not too much of a problem. I've even learned to do that waving of the gun thing. Maybe I should make a video of me playing Halo: Reach so you can see what I'm able to do with a controller.

That's just making excuses, there's no reason to assume that ME players aren't skilled mouse and keyboard players. I mean, how many of them simply upgraded from the previous version of C2 that use to be on Steam for 20 bucks?

It doesn't really matter, but with KDr of 0.6 and accuracy bellow 18%, you probably do play well with controller...
You've just been con-trolled )))

Anyways, controller is not worse than mouse, it's just harder to learn.
Some of my clan-mates used to play with controllers, but they got much better after switching to mouse+key. One of them is using his weird combo of joystick+trackball but I guess it's not the same as gamepad controller.

If you really like the controller, you should stick with it. But it wouldn't hurt you to try master the mouse.

Yeah, it wouldn't hurt, but like I said in the original post, I don't have skill with mouse and keyboard. I have a long way to go to catch up with my controller skill, let alone surpass it.

This is the potential you can reach. Now that there is a good stats sheet. And he plays with Xbox controller.

I understand what you're saying about map iteration, but this is a twitch shooter. People can, on demand, be invisible, and are literally not visible from certain ranges. So, while I get closer to a choke point, I ADS at that choke point to see if my Visor Enhance picks up the red-outline of a guy in stealth, that's why I keep checking the same spot. Also, no matter how amazing your situational awareness is, due to the moving spawns in this game, someone will always get in your grill with a shot gun and with a controller you cannot react fast enough because you're limited by your hardware. I don't think anyone wants to see Halo Reach gameplay. Why don't you show us a gameplay of Crysis 2?

Because I was talking about showing the best of what I can do with a controller and I'm not practiced and at the top of my game on Crysis 2 like I am with Reach.

Boy I'm tired of having to explain things that should have been obvious after reading my comments.

Dude play the game the way you want to play. There is really no point explaining people.Explaining people online is same as explaining to a 5years old kid that chocolate is bad for teeth.

Also, there were in fact plenty of times in Crisis 2 when someone popped in behind me, I spun and fired first, I consistently hit him from the first shot, and the only reason I died most of those times is because I haven't unlocked the better weapons yet, not because I didn't react well enough. And there were plenty of other occasions where someone thought they had the jump on me from whatever position, and I spotted them in time, turned and fired first, consistently landed my shots, and only died cause of my low level weapons. Once I unlock decent weapons, I won't be doing nearly as bad. Anyway, my point is, I do in fact react like you say isn't possible with a controller all the time, whether in Crysis 2 or Halo: Reach. If you wan't an example of what a skilled controller player can do in Crysis 2, someone already posted a vid and stats, so take a look.
