Post subject: Can we have our money back?
PostPosted: 05 05, 2012 /06:45

I know this has been posted about before, but whenever I try to load a saved game after patch 1.9, the game crashes. I can't play through the entire game in one sitting so this is a game breaking glitch. Also, I can't avoid installing 1.9 because it's automatically downloaded when you re-download and install the game.

Where is the fix for this? This problem has been occurring ever since the patch came out. This MUST be fixed soon or I would like my money back as it is a broken product that does not work as advertised.

Thank you.

If it's not a problem for you, reinstalling your Windows would help. But you could try to use CCleaner or make a new account/profile.

If you can go back to version 1.8 you can avoid autoupdate running the game from Crysis2.exe instead of Crysis2launcher.exe. This way you can play the campaign.

What he said... You can finish the campaign with the 1.8 patch and then the MP with the 1.9 patch.

Thanks for the replies. How do I go back to 1.8 though? I only have the digital copy which automatically downloads everything (including 1.9). Also, this is still a much needed fix, because the game is much more enjoyable with the DX11 graphics.
