Gotta get IPS/TN panels. I think samsungs SKUs for that are the S23A950D and the S27A950D.

SDub wrote: Gotta get IPS/TN panels. Not really. LED monitors that use TN panels are faster, but they have a lower static contrast ratio, 1000:1, as opposed to the 3000:1 static contrast ratio that my MVA panel monitor has. For me it was a compromise. And I was willing to compromise response time for contrast ratio, because I use my system mostly for photo editing and scanning film, and for those purposes a high static contrast ratio is very important. I do not play that many games, so a low response time was not a priority for me when choosing a new monitor.

Right, I meant for gamers specifically.

For someone who spends most of his computer time playing games, a monitor with a 2 ms response time and 120 HZ refresh rate is a must, and only TN panels deliver those kind of specifications. Ideally I should have two monitors, one for games and one for photo editing and other graphical work, but my desk is not big enough and neither is my wallet.

Man, my wallet isn't even big enough for a single 120Hz monitor haha.

If I was to buy what I wanted right now, I would get a 23" - 24" LED 120Hz native monitor. Specifically the S23A950D, XL2420T, V3D245, or VG236HE. The resolution would be 1920x1080 and I'd rock a GTX680. That's what I would LOVE to do. I don't think I could do the 3 monitor wide thing because I would hate to have my screen split into 3 sections, but I haven't tried it, so who knows!

@SDub: what kind of graphics card and monitor are you currently using to play Crysis 2?

Currently sir, I am using a GTX 470 which is set to an OC'd profile when playing games, one an ASUS 21.5" monitor, which operates at 60Hz.
