So, I bought Crysis 2 off Origin a while ago when it was on sale, and wasn't able to login in the game, despite being able to do so here. Saw that it's "being investigated" in the support FAQ, so I left it for a bit. Tried again today, and still get "Invalid Login Details", and a message under the login window saying Invalid Serial Code (I don't think I've ever even entered one yet). I can login to this site fine, and I've tried changing my username and password. No luck.

I've noticed a few other folk have had this problem, but haven't seen any solutions on this forum. Did anyone finally get round it? Are crytek still investigating the issue? Have people given up/got refunds?

Type in your serial code when prompted, then if you get error, press "Skip", then go to "Multiplayer" and try again... It worked for some people.

Managed to get my serial entered by clicking "modify", but it still tells me "invalid login details" when I actually try to log in with the game. Extremely frustrating. I think this account may be associated with the PS3 version I had. I'm not sure how that would be an issue... but could it?

Once you have your serial code "sticking", create a new player account from within game. Have a different email handy (although you dont have to verify it to play).

There was quite a bit of scramble regarding account logins, with correct passwords not working, mycrysis accounts not properly linked to gamespy, etc. Today, the procedure above pretty much works. "Broken" accounts may or may not ever be fixable. Hope to see you in-game!
