Hello,
Anyone tried hi-res textures with 512 MB of VRAM ? I have Sapphire Radeon 4870 with 512 MB of VRAM and I play on relatively low resolution of 1366x768 but the hi-res texture option always stay grayed out ? I have Windows 7 Pro x64 and the texture pack installed correctly with success message but still this problem ? Any ideas ?
Oh yes I have steam version and the patch automatically detected correct path.
My full system specs
Gigabyte P35-DS3P mainboard. Intel Q9550 @ stock. Radeon 4870 512 MB @ stock. Corsair XMS-II 4 GB DDR II. 500 GB WD Harddrive. Windows 7 Pro x64.
EDIT: I didn't installed Dx11 pack (As my card is Dx10 only) I just Installed Hi-res pack with normal Dx9.

I know framerate will drop a lot, but give us at least the option if we want to use fake or real 3d. Is the last thing i'm missing then game will be just perfect. thanks. When Nvidia solves the 3D Vision issue with 64 bit systems, I'm sure we'll just have to enable 3D from the Nvidia control panel and leave in-game 3D options alone. For those who wrote about missing DOF effects, I'm using Forceware drivers 275.33 and I don't have that issue at all. I still have to wait for 3D, but now I'm a happy puppy.

Still, the game looks like crap due to Anti-Aliasing not working when SLi is enabled. Crytek just sucks. Even Medal of Honor 2010 is better than this crap

Crossfire no longer utilizes the second graphics card. It shows that its activated like it would be used in a menu, but not being used beyond 0% usage during game. Everything runs ok on full max settings, but there is some stutter and jitter that would otherwise be compensated by the second card.
I'd guess I currently get 30-40FPS (down from 40-50 pre patching with both graphics cards being utilized fully). Hopefully a fix for crossfire will come around soonish. I'd really like to experience the new prettiness of the game in all its splendor.
System Specs: i5-760 2.8GHz 8GB 1600 RAM 2x5770 crossfire ATI CCC 11.6 profile latest as of yesterday, cant remember the specific build Win7 64bit

Any word on a fix for the pixelated/crappy looking textures whilist running in DX9? And the lack of anisotropic filtering? This really is a game killer for me..everything looks like complete crap now. Before the patch, it was fine...

Read the first page of the thread because it's updated about issues and the AF issue in DX9.
