What is considered to be fast for them? Would 7200 RPM be enough? Or should I get a HDD with 10000 RPM?

7200 would be fine, they come with dual processors now too.

Cancel that. Issue with dvi too. Monitor goes black exe stops responding :(

Mine wouldn't load from the origin GUI. So I went to the bin32 dir and just ran crysis2.exe from there and now the game loads fine...but still not working with origin :/

I think after this: Re-added possibility to enable r_StereoSupportAMD via config file (unsupported)
3d options in game finally work, but no=(

I'm getting an error message during install of the 1.9 patch with both the auto updater and the downloaded patch file. See the following still:

My version is a hard copy limited edition. It's not pirated. I've tried running the patch as an administrator. I think it may have something to do with Crysis 2 being installed to a non-default directory.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same problem with installing the patch try to do as the automatic download and nothing the same problem

This is very important Crytek:

When in Directx 11 mode, in the "advanced graphics" options, if you chose "ultra" for the post-processing, DOF is gone when you aim down the sights or through a scope but it's working if set to "extreme".

My rig is:

i7 950 @ 4,3 Ghz
2x GTX 580 SLI @ 950/2200
6 GB 1866 Memory
SSD 240 GB

Is this SLI related? nVidia drivers? Or just a bug you'll fix?
