Post subject: Please Help (Crysis Wars related)
PostPosted: 10 10, 2010 /03:39

Hi. Yes I know, I post too many topics and I'm sure some of you probably don't like me much but I need help. In Wars, I lag ALOOOT wether I'm on High or Low, the lag is persistant. I asked someone in-game, he told me to type r_displayinfo 1 and asked me what my memory was at, I told him 1098 and he said that was the problem. I asked him how to fix it but the cheeky bastard (sorry for my language) left. So now, I'm asking you guys, is it a system problem or is Crysis badly coded. If possible, please explain to me how I can fix this. Thanks :)

I'm running the game in DX9 Btw

1098MB of RAM isn't a huge deal. I hit 1100-1200MB without much of a stretch.

Is it network lag (are people warping around, do weapons take long to fire, etc) or is it system lag (turn around in circles is jerky, poor fps, etc)?

Its a huge deal if the system has less than 1098MB RAM, though.

That's also an impossibility. You can't use more physical RAM than you have and i don't believe CryEngine2 reports page file usage.
