nVidia all the way. More stable fps in games, no overheating, better drivers, games are designed mostly for nVidia... lot of reasons. Little more expensive, but much better.

I know that issue as well. i agree i got one one laptop with a ati mobility 5850 that thang runs betwen 97 and 103 °C flawlessy when it reach 104°C laptop turn off because of Intels cpus T-Junction, i think the card will take even 120°C btw it becomes really annoying when it roast ur ballls, maybe somday i will try to mod the laptop it just needs a better cooling Edit : while reading this.. overheating means to me card dies .. this card is a lil bit overclocked so i would rather say ATI cards are famous for Overclocking potential , that card runs Metro 2033 in normal settings in 1200:800 with 35 - 60 fps what she it actually does not could run referring to system requirements or different bechmarks

Well, it's probably issue of new generation of cards, and I haven't been tracking what's new so I might have been wrong about that. But I would still always choose nVidia over ATI.

Well, i have a friend who has a ATI Card and he has a lot of problems with crysis 2 and battlefield 3 like some bugs and low fps drops. I got a 9800GT and now a GTX 560 TI and i didn't had any problem this year with it.
