I've been easing myself back into the fold and just purchased a solid-top Takamine acoustic-electric.
Not the most expensive or fancy instrument in the shops, but I reckon the Taka's give the best sound for the money you hand over (I'm very pleased).
I'll have to scrape the dust off my electric one day soon; its just a cheap J&D Strat knock-off, but it was a good beginners guitar though.

What are your guys preferences/what are you using currently when it comes to guitars?
