Crysis 1.
It combined modern military warfare and futuristic alien warfare so well, hell there's even a level where you shoot ghosts. Amazing diversity in the environments, outstanding open-ended level design that allows you to create the action scenarios as you play, over and over and over. Intense story and progression, just an overall masterpiece from heaven.
Warhead is OK but it had too much ice/aliens, and Crysis 2 is not a Crysis game.

I loved both Crysis 1 and 2. But if you had to grill me for a single answer, I would probably say Crysis 1, but I suspect that part of the reason was the novelty (at the time) of jaw-dropping unprecedented graphics, and the fact that I love tropical environments with lush flora.
Gameplay wise, I enjoyed both titles immensely but felt there were definitely some improvements in Crysis 2, although I missed the larger open environments with more freedom in Crysis 1.
Overall, it remains a close tie for me. The entire Crysis series has delivered tremendous enjoyment, which at this point honestly remains unrivaled for me personally.

C1 there was more freedom throughout the campaign and the campaign is nice and long.

I enjoyed playing all of the crysis games from the sandbox gameplay of the first (and warhead) to the streets of New York. I love the Nanosuit and the story so far and I am looking forward to Crysis 3 when it comes out. But If I had to choose one it would be the first Crysis because of the graphics, location and sandbox gameplay.

I like both Crysis 1 and 2, but if I had to choose, It will be Crysis 1. I mean that C1 have more freedom than C2. It was a long and a nice campaign.

They're both great IMO. If you want a fast paced multiplayer and average single player, go for Crysis 2.
If you want the best single player game you have ever played, and the most hacked/sh*tty modded multiplayer you have ever played, go for crysis 1 :P

I've played Crysis (1) so many times over and WARHEAD a couple times as well but Crysis 2 didn't call my name.. I've played Crysis 2 SP about 80% of the way hoping that it will get better but never did and I never picked it up again. Crysis 2 is .... extremely disappointing.
