I think that there where a few things missing in C1, such as a more in-depth story, but it was overall a great game! I think that Crysis 2 is going to be even better in many ways, and not worse for sure. The singleplayer is for sure going to be better because of all the attention that's being given to the actual story-line, and not just the graphics. And I think that also the MP is gonna be great! Yes, many of us would have liked it if you could have, say, eight more players total (four more for each team), but other than that I don't see any other reason to complain. I think that the new options for customizing the nanosuit are a great idea (as long as they're not too over-powered so that new players will be immediately crushed by higher-level players the minute they enter a game), and hopefully all the new weapons aren't just a pile of the same guns that just look different when just 4 guns would be enough. All-in-all, I'm hoping that Crytek is not going to let us down with Crysis 2, and that the SP and the MP are going to be just as fun as Crysis 1. P.S. (not Power Struggle) Also looking forward to playing the MP Demo on PC in two days!

Everything we liked in Crysis was removed specifically because everyone, except a small minority of hardcore players, yelled at Crytek that it's nothing but a tech demo that no one can run. Now they've made it so it's NOT a tech demo, and everyone's yelling at them that it's not Crysis anymore. I really see no way out for these guys, and financially speaking, our ideal scenario of getting Crysis 1, only better, is unfeasible. I don't see how crysis is a tech demo. I had an 8600gt back in the days when i bought it at 2007 and was enjoying the game at medium with a respectable fps. Hell.... the game looked 10 times better on medium than cod4 did which was released the same year and people complained because they couldn't run it on very high... If crytek didn't include high and very high and labeled very high as what the medium settings where so people can brag that they run the game maxed out they would be happy and not say its a "tech demo". Only recently i dug up my crysis 2 dvd and installed the game again... i can run it maxed out on DX10 with my HD4890 and enjoy both sp and mp. Crytek simply made a game graphically futuristic that home GPUs could utilyze fully 1-2 years later without releasing another title of those capabilities 2 years later and people complained.... Although im a hardcore crysis fan i have pre-ordered crysis 2 regardless.

so true. The thing is, they coulda easily done a player cap of 32 or more, adding vehicles, but at the same time, have gametypes where max players is 12, and revolves around vehicle-less, small maps. If you build multiplayer this way, you can not only satisfy the direction you want, but also satisfy the fans that really want big teams. It's common sense, crytek. Hell, halo can pull off vehicle based games with big maps with max 16 players and have it not feeling like a small skirmish.

6v6 aint that bad for me as a PC gamer...I played a couple of shooters a long time...one of those games was BF 2142. I experienced that the 32 - 64 servers were very luck-based and not fun to play on at all. You constantly had someone standing/spawning behind you shooting you in the back...or you ran into a claymore cause they were lying almost everywhere....or u got sniped (not even killed by a headshot...there were just so many snipers that if they all aimed at your leg and some even didnt hit you died)...or not to speak of that stupid granadespam everywhere. These servers were HORRIBLE!...thats why I'm rly looking forward to what cryteks gonna do with crysis 2 namly 6v6. Wouldnt mind if it was 7v7, 8v8 or 9v9....but on the maps I've seen in some gameplay vids, 6v6 should rly be ideal and you guys should stop complaining until you experienced how it is. If you want random action, this and also Crysis 1 is/was the wrong game for you imo.

I love the idea of 6vs6 servers... most time I played on 12v12 servers... but that's just the typical, boring shoot and reload gameplay... BTW free-for-all will have 1vs11... so there're still enough people for you to kill in that mode if you want brainless madness deathmatch matches :)

Well, for me the problem is not really 6vs6... It is to have only 6vs6 and no other choices. In crysis, I don't like very much instance action map and 6vs6 could perhaps improve this kind of match. However, I actually play most of time power struggle on Mesa which is really fun (and time consuming). For people saying that spawn will be a problem with 16vs16 (or 21vs21;-)) on a map, you've never played crysis 1 in power struggle. Due to previous experiences with games developed for both consoles and Pc and the lake of power struggle, I don't really know if I would buy this game... Even if I like the idea to be in NY. For people saying that Pc Gamers complain every time. I will say it evident that Crytek can’t do a game which supplies every attempt. It’s also understandable that they would develop also for consoles to increase their market which what there is nothing bad… It is good for consoles gamers and could be good for PC gamers. The problem is often that they don’t finish games (as cnc3, civilization 5 only on PC) or don’t take account of the potential of each platform (no power struggle in crisis 2 or some control which are not adapted on other platform (Frank Herbert dune)). I have never written too much on forum. But, now, I like better gamers complain about some point than seeing against a series falling down as command and conquer and later EA come to apologize. For people saying that we should first try to play, it’s ok if we have a full demo. I have spent too much money on falling games (even with good reviews) to buy this game without being sure it’s worth my money.
