yup, take your point, but we have had no news about it in that time other than what the lik tells us, but throughout this time we have seen hundreds of people who seem to have no knowledge of these details

Tthey heard the word Beta, and jumped on the wagon, creating a new thread instead of reading the many existing threads that gave all the relevant info.

On the other hand some people, as you say, are wondering what is happening, and waiting as they have from the start, but paitiently.

The link is after all, the only information we have had since the outset regarding the Beta, and is pretty much what Crytek intended at the start, the point of the thread is just to remind the people who demand and expect, what the intention of Beta is.

I have first hand experience of bug reporting as i have said, and the kind of rants rages and so on, that these people post when they decide, even not having paid for the privilage, that they dont like it.

I meant no offence, :D
MoH doesnt even count as a beta when havent even patched it once. o.0

I have done a couple betas, some closed and some open. :)

I agree with pizzahut though, it would be nice if Crytek could clear things up a bit. They took down the beta information a couple days later and havent once even had the word beta in their posts (must be covered by NDA).

Apparently, this will prove to be a dramatic change when the game releases, lol, seems backward to me but still, Beta it is, complete with bugs and glitches.

this Beta subject for Crysis 2 is a real tease, and its time we heard something by now, :-)

having only signed and with being a 'noob' my take on it, which will be suprising to some, is that the original signups should be entitiled to a key rather than those that have only recently signed up. first come first served IMO.

I was fortunate enough to be involved with IW Modern Warfare 2 closed beta, and as stated we were told to report and glitches, problems etc we found and to input some constructive criticism.

I think too many people view the beta as a chance to 'try before you buy' hence the attitude that they are entitled to a key

From how EA and crytek have been advertising the game which basiaclly has been keeping a pretty tight lide on the game im guessing that the beta will be closed and small for just a select few people to give feedback...
i remeber a post or posts up near the top it think couldnt find talking about how the bfbc2 beta was large and was a way to advertice and i completly agree with that i remeber playing with a guy that started cursing because it was glitchy i wish i had a head set to say something to him :D

ok. first of all, if you dont get the beta key, who cares. watch videos that people put on youtube. its still a good way to see what its all about so far. Some of you are right. The fact that people on this forum are 4 years old and just want to play the game rather than actually TEST it out, defeats the purpose. So all you cry babies that keep complaining, just stop. its not going increase your chances of receiving the beta access from crytek. Id just like to point out, to those who get acess to the beta, DO NOT recommend to change the hud/binoculars. They are sick IMO. I hope crytek doesnt change the entire game like they did in crysis. ALSO, do NOT recommend a wrist band for the nano-suit....! To those who tell crytek to lower the graphics because they have a close to garbage computer, get lost. its your fault, not crytek's. If you cant handle the game, dont buy it. Simple as that.

pirate, my paragraph wasnt directed towards you my freind. but yeah, crysis 1 release was very frusterating for me and i just wanted to get that point across regarding graphics and peoples systems. Is it not why crytek downgraded their graphics 200% in crysis? what im trying to say is, when people start playing the BETA and they see that they are lagging, they shouldnt use at as an excuse to complain about the graphics and have crytek lower them just for their needs and ruin it for everyone else. i beleive that IS what happened for crysis 1. correct me if im wrong.

No I dont think post counts for much
This is what Crytek said.

http://www.thatvideogameblog.com/2010/06/11/crysis-2-beta-incoming-is-selective/

and as I said, I hope all who want get, all I want is the finished product on my shelf.

As you found the time to come and be highly critical, dont suggest we got nothing better to do, I only checked in three times today, otherwise been well busy.

If you cany be constructive, why bother, as I wont lose any sleep at all over your comments,, doubt anyone will, no offence.
only checking in 3 times? ha.. you spend all your free time here talking about a game you barely know anything about. I wasn't being "critical" before, I was merely suggesting doing other things but I'm sure when you aren't losing sleep, you're dreaming about posting about the crysis2 beta. I will laugh so hard if you dont get in, mr 500+ post boy.

On topic: "Beta is not guaranteed for everyone"..
No ****. Moving on..

@BlackOp8XI - In regards to 50 spam posts for one image, it was probably forum bug related and it should've been cleared up now. If not, please post a link.

As for the rest of it, please put your swords down and play nice everyone :)
