Please. As long as you can keep it locked to only the joypad, and no one can mod it for use with the mouse it should be available for the PC version when using joypad.

For singleplayer, yes. Multiplayer no way.

Separate servers? People should be able to use controllers.. Though I dislike aim assist, it messes up when there are multiple people on the screen :/

the way rockstar does it good, its two different sections

plus we have have to use this kind of thinking since if console stop being made in the future (aka its into streaming/or small compact pc takes over)
this be the best thing to do cause M&K being force on people for MP is not right

Sure they can use controllers in multiplayer, but not with aim assist...

Wouldn´t it be more correct to say people force themselves to use controllers?

Is like playing Devil May Cry with a keyboard, in fact I´m buying a PC controller just for those games.

There was an option for aim assist at the beginning of crysis 2 but it got taken away due to complaints. (For PC)

Mouse is more advanced than a gamepad so in all fairness it wouldn't be so bad because games are able to recognise if a controller is plugged in, and if so, then an option for aim assist should be enabled but then again, people will find ways of getting around this and apply aim assist to the mouse making it highly unfair on others because on console everyone has the option of aim assist.

Of course using a controller on the PC is a new experience in some way instead of the mouse and keyboard, but, if you're that desperate just play on a console :)

its wrong to force people to use what they dont like

in Max payne 3
there two section
Free aim and soft aim
once you select either one then you select the mode you like to play

this lets me play with my controller and not just get over run/ destroyed
this also lets K&M not having a auto aim

now do we need this in c3 right now? maybe not
if they do have such section i would not mind playing with my controller with other controller users

Free aim=M&K user
soft aim=Controller users

Why not in Multiplayer? On the PS3 and 360 versions the Multiplayer has auto aim. Surely the PC version on Multiplayer could have aim assist for joy pad users as well.

I do see that their could be a problem with hacking on the PC so that people with using K&M would get aim assist. but if Crytek can lock it to only the joypad, then whats the problem?

We all know that K&M will crush someone using a controller on PC. The accuracy of the mouse is undeniable. Giving joypad users aim assist is a way of balancing it out.

The argument against this is very simple: It gives a crutch only to a select portion of the population that, by the way, are gimping their aiming skills mostly by choice.

Either learn to compete with a controller or use the optimal (and cheaper, too) input for a game of this kind. Anything else is giving an unfair advantage which is NOT accessible by everyone due to their choice of input, whereas choosing the controller (and thus gimping your accuracy) is something done mostly on a voluntary basis.

Certain people with wrist or arm diseases/problems might be forced into controllers, and to them I guess I would say get the game on console, don't play Multiplayer or make up for it with mad skills.
