I'd like to create a section that would help people understand if their hardware will be fine for Crysis 3 by gathering all your expertise and just general post with all your "SIC RIGS" out there.
I'll start off with a question: lately I've been having some V-ram issues being a lack of it 1.25gb with my GTX 570sli since upgrading with a Shimian 2560x1440 monitor. Examples: I can run Far Cry 3 Ultra but without MSAA Battlefield 3 the same and Crysis 2 All maxed out with 45-60fps. How do you think my rig will fair?
I7 2600K clocked at 4.5ghz Asus P8Z68-V PRO 8gb Corsair DDR3 1600mhz GTX570 IN SLI 850W Power supply
Looking forward to hearing all your feedback and posts.

I probably could run it if they didn't have that artificial DX11 "requirement"... They thought they could make me buy into DX11; they thought wrong!

My Core 2 Duo E8400 was borderline for Crysis 2, I don't think it's going to be enough for Crysis 3. I hope to get a cheap Q9450 soon! My Radeon 5770 will probably be OK at low resolution and settings, at least I hope so, I can't afford to upgrade both components!

Mein specs:
- AMD Phenom II x6 1090t OC @ 4GHz - AMD HD6970 (ASUS DirectCU2 version) OC @ 920/1500 (core/mem) Soon to be replaced by: AMD HD7970 (Sapphire Dual-X 3GB version) OC @ however much I can manually overclock the non-OC version. - 2x4GB Kingston HyperX Genesis DDR3 1600mhz cl9
Rig currently runs Crysis 2 at ultra-everything 1920x1080 + FXAA + 16xAF + VSYNC except Objects and Water (Card is bad at tessellation) rather comfortably at about 40 fps. However, I also lower Shadows and Shaders to Extreme to disable realtime reflections and volumetric dust shadows to run at almost 60fps constant.

FX8150 + 7950? Why would they do that >_<
nVidia will be partnering up with Crytek again to deliver the most stable experience, so Green team is the safest bet. I'm not saying AMD users will run into issues, there's a fair chance AMD driver team will do a good job from release. But it's by no means guaranteed, and if things turn out bad then it could take days, even weeks for a stable AMD driver release. Who knows. Also FX8150's architecture simply wasn't built with gaming in mind, it lags behind i5's (SB/IB) in many titles. 4 brutally fast cores > 8 weak cores. And that's for games which even use more than 2-4 cores effectively lol.
My specs... i5 2500K @ 4.4ghz GTX 660 Ti (to be upgraded to GTX780, whenever the hell it comes out) 8GB DDR3 RAM 750w PSU 128GB Samsung 830 SSD, 160GB Intel 320 SSD (salvaged from a previous build)
I'm mostly set, vroom vroom.
