hey guys, got the game yesterday so am a big noob at mo. just interested in seeing what rigs people have and what settings they use for multiplayer. as in do you all go low for better fps or is the fps capped any way?
i have a GTX580
16GB ram
a vertex 4 ssd
and the intel 3930 i7
what other setups do people have and what settings as in ultra or anything do you use.
also coming from europe my lowest ping in server list is 109 are there no servers closer to UK.

I play low, sometimes tweak even lower for better gameplay.
For the specs it's:
HD7970
i7 920
6GB ram...
What else?

For MP, go high as you can and still drive the maximum refresh rate of your monitor (with vsync on, for me).
Re "protocol error": What was the exact error message and where in the game did it occur?
